UEFA Champions League Final (ASFOS in opening ceremony)

Featured Replies

The thread for the Champions League final, as Juventus take on Suarez. Will Pirlo expose Barca's lack of a #10 or will superhuman Messi reign supreme again? Make your predictions here!

Kick off : Saturday June 6th, 7.45pm UK time (2.45pm Eastern)

Or Chompions League, as I like to call it for Chewy Suarez

'A Sky Full Of Stars' will also feature during the opening ceremony, according to Globo Esporte (Thanks to Coldplaybrasil.com)

The organization also took to the last audio testing and the first try of the match in the opening ceremony. A musical performance should also take the help of a mosaic in the stands, and will last about seven minutes. The soundtrack chosen by UEFA was "Sky Full Of Stars", the British group Coldplay, and a remix version of the song "Can not Hold Us" Americans Macklemore and Ryan Lewis

That's great news! Also Cüneyt Çakır is going to referee the match, he's Turkish! It's a wonderful feeling, a Turk will see them but I haven't seen them yet, he's really lucky. :)

Out of all Turkish refs, they had to pick him lol... I can see a red card for sure, he likes making headlines

I'm not fond of him to say the least, after this:

I don't think a trigger happy ref is a good one, can ruin a spectacle.

However, wouldn't mind seeing this guy ref a CL final :D

In Berlin, going to the game.

That's awesome, enjoy :D

I think Barca will be too much with them with their front three

ASFOS playing right now. Hoping to see a great match.

Was it shown on TV over there? ITV didn't show it the UK, they prefer ads instead :/

Fanfuckingtastic Suarez! So pleased to see him doing what he does best as opposed to doing his worst (chomp chomp!)

Disappointed for Juve though. Would have loved to have seen them and Pirlo lift the cup.
