They've been doing it for a while now. Started to get more noticeable during the Viva era.

They are using too many backing tracks this era, it's just too much. Even a simple rythm on a tambourine (Hymn For The Weekend), c'mon guys !

i think its fine... i mean there's only so much the guys can play at any one time. I think from Viva onwards they started packing more sound into their music, which is why they have to use a backing track
