3 Facts Guessing Game

Featured Replies

Back in late 2015 there was a theory that every album had its colour, based on song titles with colours

Parachutes: Yellow

AROBTTH: Green

X&Y: White

VLVODAAHF: Violet

Mylo Xyloto: Brown

Ghost Stories: Midnight Blue (although it wasn't a typical colour)

.... and A Head Full of Dreams- Colour Spectrum!

And i read in the Coldplay rules that they must pay a lot of attention to the imagery. Maybe thats why they choose the colors they choose.
Yes!

It was once called Cartoon Heart

It was part of the colour theory

It has the same surname with Chris Brown

Oh, and i thought the theory was about having been Cartoon Heart and the artist thing that it had the same name as the Peanuts character Charlie Brown :D

1 Has a very similar song from the same era

2 Is a b—side

3 Released not only by Coldplay

- was never performed live

- has Guy singing on it

- is a B-side

I think someone here pointed out that it wasn't Guy but Brian Eno instead

Death Will Never Conquer

Lost with Jay Z

The last fact means that it was released twice, and one release was not by Coldplay [uSER=109713]@A Guy Full of Stars[/uSER]

really ? where ?

Sorry to disappoint you guys, but its neither Jonny nor Guy singing at around 1:27. Its actually Brian Eno!! And trust me on this! It IS Brian!! But the song is so friggin wicked and I really LOVE it! I don’t care if it sound different to their usual stuff. I’ve been a fan since 2000 and anything they give out I’d appreciate and love, even if its different or to the opinion of others, shit! Juts try to enjoy it guys!! :)

Here it is from the song's thread

Odd, I always thought that was Guy, because of the accent. But then again it does sound kinda similar to the voice on A L I E N S...

Hm, the Oracle says all 4 members sang in it.

I just found this in an old thread discussing who sings lead vocals in the third verse :joy:

it was me.

:uhoh:

did you see my guess ? :)
Oh right sorry

[emoji322][emoji322][emoji322][emoji322] correct

To which song in the same Era do you think it's similar ? Proof ?

Here's my new one:

- mentions a natural phenomenon in its lyrics

- Jonny plays an additional riff in the live version

- parts of the video were filmed during a concert
