I'm a member at the beta band messageboard and i am hearing some negative comments about coldplay on that board...i am very disappointed and i need some cheering up. Who can compliment coldplay the best in one sentence?

coldplay is the greatest band in the world! oh and coldplay fans are the greatest people in the world.

hahaha your a humble girl. I was just getting a little annoyed at the negative coldplay comments at the other messageboard i needed to hear some good comments.

yeah, it gets me angry too when people decide to say negative things about Coldplay, I don't think anything about them are negative at all, they all have a great sense of humour and they work really really hard, it just bugs me so much that some people ignore that and just say stupid things like "Oh, Coldplay suck"

when really, they have no idea what they're talking about

especially when they havent taken the time to listen to them. they hear clocks on the radio and that is the impression they get. they need to hear it all ya know. and i wasnt happy about how the people on this beta band board started saying how dry and horrible chris's voice is... i was so pissed i meaned some people have that kind of preferred taste of sound bbut its not horrible. have you heard beta bands lead singer. chris has much more character to his voice and everything. i love the beta band and all but people just cant dis coldplay like that

yeah i agree, i think that Chris' voice is one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard, I don't know Beta Bands so I'm not going to say anything, but I think Chris' voice has so much emotion and depth to it..how can someone not see that?

beta bands got awesome tunes but the voice of the band is their weakness. Just a Scottish/British band. he sounds good good live too. thats what counts in a good voice

except pretty much everyone likes clocks. it's so messed up.

lol all people have their weakspots and i am surrounded by friends engulfed in the hip hop culture. when they make fun of coldplay and other music of the same taste, they make sure im not around cause i m liable to get violent when it comes to making fun of coldplay. thats how big of a fan i am.

i got annoyed in the beginning but it happend so much i said i didn't care. and then they stopped when they realized it didn't matter what they said to me.

 

guy comes up to me: coldplay sucks!

me: that's nice to know *walk away*

mindy: no, i like good charlotte

girl: oh, i really like coldplay.

 

then she started asking people if they liked coldplay.

 

srtange, i never knew she liked coldplay.

i'd like to fight back by saying that the beta band suck, but uh... i happen to be a huge fan of the beta band... in fact i think they're better than coldplay (even though i've seen coldplay three times and the beta band only twice, one of which was an opening slot). :blush:

 

i'm eagerly awaiting their new album...

WELL COLDPLAY HAS THIS EXCELLENT BOARD (IT WAS THE IDEA) AND WELL THERE'S NOTHING BETTER THAN THAT! :D
