i love waves because they let us surf them.

some of the first images remind me some of the stuff in "Koyaanisqatsi." if you've never seen it, i highly recommend it, it's a wordless documentary about how western civilization is living out of balance with nature.

 

one of the great things about it is it makes you see things in a way that brings out the beauty in everything, manmade and natural alike.

 

(and has wonderful music by philip glass)
