I'm curious...tell me your story if there's one :)

So...I've seen The Scientist video on Tv before a year or more...I said:"This guy looks cool and this song isn't bad :wink3: "

One day my brother came with AROBTTH and he wasn't satisfied... :embarrased:

But me...After a week I told him:" I MUST HAVE PARACHUTES IMMEDIATELY!!!!! :)

And this was the beginning :D

When I saw the video for In My Place I was like hey, this is a really good song...and that dude who's singing is pretty cute...hmmm I think I like Coldplay. ;)

mmm again? :/ well... thanks to my father! :lol: :lol: i bought him parachutes... but at the end... this cd is miiiiineeeeeeee!! :idea2: :D well, i had listened yellow... and i liked it but... i decided to buyt o my father... :dozey: :P

Since I saw Yellow video......the whole video in just one secuence!!!...day and night...raining and sunny day....I really like to see it...I love the photografy.....Chris singing slowly...the sea!....the stars!!!!...I love Stars!!!!....and of course the sound of Trouble...piano...I love piano....those two songs were the reason to love Coldplay.....but I didn´t who were these guys only I like the music...I just went to buy Parachutes...and it was so hard to find the CD cause they were always sold out...Shiver one of the greatest!!!!

then AROBTTH.....I started to ask my self about these guys...looking on ta Internet....and then I want it to know everything about them...Chris and Gwyneth...Who´s that GUY "beautiful" BERRYMAN...COLDPLAY DVD Live...downloads....downloads.....and here I AM!!!!!!!!!!!.....LOVING COLDPLAY!!!!!..... ;)

How I became a coldplay fan ?

 

I was watching a soap on Sky One callled 'Dream team one day'. The tune Trouble came on. A tune I had already knew off, however it seemed to fit in well with the programme. Since that moment any time I heard the tune I had to hear it. In the end in order to hear this tune, I used to play it when I went to the pub and request it on the Juke box. When the bar staff tunred it up the volume of their system I knew I was on to a good thing. I went on to purchase the parachuets album. The rest is History. Now I have to play coldplay everyday.

well I had heard yellow and shiver before and liked it but he bought yellow on single and he played it and told me to listen to it and I loved the b~sides and I fell in love with help is round the corner and that's my story :cool: :D

My dad! He said he had downloaded Parachutes and I should give it a listen. I wasn't that interested considering I was still into pop music...but I took his advice and have never looked back! :cool:

I heard Trouble first... And I liked the song a lot... Then Sérgio (who wasn´t even my boyfriend at the time), kept writing the words to Shiver for me. He gave me a copy of Parachutes and boom ! I became a Coldplay fan :D

i heard in my place in an episode of smallville. my brother told me they were called coldplay so i downloaded some stuff and fell in love :D

I was watching the Scientist video, loved it. Downloaded the song and then I remembered that they had another song named Yellow (which is my fav. color). So I asked my friend burned the Parachutes and AROBTTH on a cd for me and wa-la.... I`m hooked :D

I heard their songs, thought ' might get me that cd', I did, on a spur-of-the-moment shopping spree, threw it away for 2 months, listened to it again, and then I was addicted. The end.

Well my sister and brother in law liked them first because they saw them at the Big Day Out in early 2001 on the mainstage. I liked them a few months later when I heard Shiver and liked them even more when I saw the clip, I thought the guitarest was really cute and the rest is history... ;)

 

I am yet to see them live.

I remember when I asked my friend some time ago "Who the f*** are Coldplay?" I had heard the name some times and that many people - Robbie Williams, too - said they were very good. But I had never heard a song by them.

A few months later "Clocks" came out. It was played on the radio very often, at least one time a day in spring and summer 03. It was March when I noticed it for the first time. I started to like it...and then to love it. My mother and my brother liked it, too. When I found out that the song was by Coldplay, I thought, hey they are good.I read an interview with Chris and thought, this guy looks good, too. Till September I didn't know any other songs by them, but I kept on listening to "Clocks" and got excited whenever I saw the guys on TV (and I only knew one of the band). Finally, on September 16th I decided to download other songs (I knew "GPASUYF" already). And I completely fell in love when I was listening to "The Scientist". Ooh my God.

I didn't have the money to buy any albums at that time :cry:, so I had a

burnt "AROBTTH" till I got an original CD for Christmas. Six days later I bought

"Parachutes". But I think I'm a real fan since I've joined this Messageboard cuz here I finally found out how the other bandmates are like (and they're very CUTE) and that the guys aren't as sad as some of their songs. I still haven't got many Coldplay stuff, only three CDs. But however, my love for Coldplay grows every day :D

I had NO idea at the time who Coldplay was or that the song was Coldplay, but I enjoyed the song. Later that year, I was at a friends house, and he suggested i listen to this one track Dont Panic by a group called Coldplay.. I was immediately entranced.. and fell in love the group.. later to find out, 4 or 5 tracks later.. that it was the same group that I had heard 20 million times that previous fall! I loved the album, and became an instant fan....

How did I become a Coldplay fan??

 

Lemme think... was there a life before Coldplay??? hihihihi - No I am not that insane! :P

A long long time ago in a kingdom far away there was this girl, let's call her Maria, she was very bored. One day she turned on this machine, which was later known as a TV, and flipped through the stations. When all of the sudden her ears caught something of a piano melody. It was magical, exillirating... and she knew that from this moment her life was never going to be same again. She turned around and watched the moving pictures.... the light and the mystery of the video thrilled her very much and the voice cut deep into her soul. Her skin started to shiver and she fell in love with the music..... *I never meant to cause you trouble.... *.......and later developed an obsession for the singer.... which her boyfriend didn't dig very much hehehehe :P

However later she went to school and found out she was not the only one. A guy from her school *a very hot one I might add :wink3: :wink3: :P :P :P * introduced her to yellow and she downloaded the cd. Listened to it DAY and NIGHT!!! And an addiction was born.... :lol: :lol: :lol:

She bought the original not long after, went to see them.... and then.... discovered Jonathan!!!!!!! OMG!!!! But that's a whole different story.... :P

Once upon a time, in the year 2000, there ws a song called 'Yellow' an it was a huge hit. Everybody liked this song and it became a summer athem. The group who wrote this song headlined Glastonbuy that year. This video for this song was played many times and one day I was watching the TV.

AND....

A bloke came on the TV. He was dressed in a wetcoat and was walking down the beach. The song was very catchy and it became one of my favs. I later found out that this bloke that was o the beach was called 'Chris Martin' and the band was called COLDPLAY. They became one of my fav bands and still are today!

uhhhh...i was at target....i had heard Coldplay on the radio but i didn't know it was them....but i really liked the cover of A Rush Of Blood To The Head so i bought it. took a while for me to really get into it because i'm more into the percussive heavy metal stuff, but i did eventually and then i loved it...bought Parachutes soon after and i love both albums :D
