With the release of All my love, Chris said that was going to be their last single and video. After that, Karate Kid and Man in the Moon have been released and their videos too. I think it gives us some light about how much can we trust all this final albums plans/threats😂

I think they did the last two videos so they could say "hey, those are b-sides not singles so they don't count!" 

That said if All My Love is truly the final Coldplay single ever, I'll eat a pinecone

sorry to necro a dead thread, but the "no singles" thing is simply bullshit. chris said in some interview that after the 12 albums were done, they'd release singles or small eps, but no new albums. 🥀

He said no more videos, didn´t say there not going to be more singles, actually the opposite.

Anyway, I think we will have more of both.
