Disney make all their DVD & video limited period only. I have a feeling The Little Mermaid is currently on its not in production period as is Mary Poopins at the mo. you have to wait until they next decide to produce it again. I think the Lion King was out of circulation for about 5 years until they re-released it last year.

I got a copy of the original one, but copy as in we recorded it. :/
