hang in there, maya. it just takes some getting used to :D

yea, i guess all instruments are really frustrating when you're starting to learn how to play em.

just keep practicing and eventually you'll get good... i guess.

My problem is that I have an electric guitar, and you're not supposed to start off with one (the metal strings and all that)...

One good thing is that when I told my parents today that I'm gonna get an acoustic one soon cos it's better for beginners, they didn't seem to mind *crosses fingers*

haha sorry

it's going to happen sooner or later....

:/

Go maya! i started with an acoustic guitar with nasty metal strings haha..the painnnnn!!!!!.. i used to stay up til 4am playing my damn guitar and sometimes i fell asleep hugging it ( i still do that but that's a diff story :D ) try to play a radiohead song first.. the first song i ever played was creep 10 years ago.. oh sweet memories :P

Yeah, the pain is terrible :/ a friend of mine is teaching me the basics here and there (I suck though)... I'm now learning a bit of Polly (Nirvana), which is going to be my first song as it seems... which is why I'll probably name my sweet guitar 'Polly' afterwards  :P

Then I wanna play Seven Nation Army, I know it's easy (or so I've been told...) and it's cool to play :D

The Creep bassline is awesome, I must say

Bass is my next station, after guitar. A friend of mine might lend me his bass for a couple of months, this should be fun :smug: :wink3:
