May 28, 200422 yr Author My problem is that I have an electric guitar, and you're not supposed to start off with one (the metal strings and all that)... One good thing is that when I told my parents today that I'm gonna get an acoustic one soon cos it's better for beginners, they didn't seem to mind *crosses fingers* i started with an acoustic....electric is easier...believe me. you can hear your mistakes better on an electric too. Yeah, and I like electrics better :cool: I think I'm gonna get a classic guitar, I've found one in a really cool price... just to start off with something that won't make me regret ever touching a guitar :P

I've already sacrificed my pretty, long fingernails, now my fingers... haha it will, after a few months you'll be able to play stockholm syndrom and reptilia :cool: and since im a psyco i always try to play those songs on acoustic :stunned: stockholm syndrome sounds weird but the reptilia solo RoX on acoustic Oh, wow! :stunned: I really hope so ;) Record yourself playing them, I wanna hear! haha sure , here's the link http://riff42.tripod.com/Jam/strokes_jam.mp3 just right click and 'save target as' but it sux coz this jam is really old , i recorded it when i was first trying to learn to play reptilia, I can play it way better on electric though :cool: btw, if u want to be really good , just try to play tricky solos on acoustic till u master 'em .. then try to play 'em on electric and you'll be like :stunned: Im god haha Woah, that's really cool :stunned: :cool: and really addicting, I can't stop listening to it, haha. Sounds like a jazz gig or something... that's great, I wish I'll be able to play something like that one day :D

May 28, 200422 yr Guitars are frustrating...indeed...or more the people who sell them...people that sell you CRAP :angry: I play for one year and for two weeks, after I had two crapy guitars (one got broke although I hadn't done anything, the other sounded terrible after some time) I finally got a high-quality one. ...the smart advertisment :o ROB!!
