Mentality

Featured Replies

I can not understand why people say everything is mental. When you can not do something and suddenyl you say "Oh, I can't" they always come up with the typical phrase "Sure you can, it's all mental". IT'S NOT!. Not everything is mental, thought it plays a very important role.

When you get to a higher level, I do agree that it's your mentality what makes the difference, or in cases like Steve Prefountain (he's the biggest U.S.A runner ever, but he's dead now) what made the difference was his strong mind.

And even If you have a strong mind, and you think you can do things, people thing you are cocky....... that's the word? Engreido... like when you think you are better than the others, must pardon me, but of course you are better than the others! If you want to be at the top, you have to be better than the others, and believe it! and then people tell you are this and that..... and If are on the other extreme, you are weak and feble..... and If you are in the middle; well there are thousands of average people in the world, why be one of them?

I don't understand how people thing, how most of them though.

I really don't.

In my opinion, if someone says that something is "mental" they mean that it is "excellent" or "great fun" :stunned:

Nothing to do with mental health... which is totally different.

I knew it was you Carla when I read the topic!... :D

I hate that

It sounds like If you were expecting something

everyone expects something from me

They are all going to get dissapointed

I'm not Luther King or Prefountain

I'm just Carla

hey lady!....I´m just saying is cool!....your threads are cool...and your doubts as well....you learn I learn! :D ;)

Joyce, although I could be wrong, I think its a certain couple lines of your signature that go outside the bounds of those of us with small monitors. Its strange, the line in your signature should just continue onto the next line if its too long, but it must be centered or something.

Anyways, its making it a hassle for me to read topics that you have posted in, I have to keep scrolling left to right, left to right.

It'd be mucho appreciato if you could do something about it, please. :sneaky:
