wow, and look who's here! :nice:

Hellooo Queen of the Queens!

Did your source of inspiration work when playing the solo? :wink3:

@Ari:

jeje queen of the queens :D

jeje me alegro :D

Lo siento

No chico, Es Chino

Woho, queen of the queens eh :wacko:

Ah no...i didn't..i was tempted to do so but i was strong!

I might let it happen next time though :whip:

oh yeah, you never know when you'll give in to temptations but as long as you're strong enough... everything will be fine.

By the way, and which is the instrument that you play?

@Ari:

@Daryl:

aah, vale!!

Esto significa otra cosa muy diferente!!

Haha that's true!

I play the cello. I also took piano lessons a year ago or so but i don't have time for that anymore :(

the cello, cool rolle (i think i already knew that) :D

so how are you doing? :nice:

yeah daryl chino is a very different thing :)

next post will be S.O.T.D. :wacky: imagine which song will be? :wacko:

The cello is pretty similar to the violin, isn't it? I bet it is difficult to play.

Well, you'll find the time for it, sooner or later. I took piano lessons during a year and a half at the age of 12. Afterwards, I didn't play it for a few years, I suppose I wasn't motivated to do so. But well, it came the day in which I found the piano sheets of a song that I've always loved and I thought I had to give it a try (I've got a piano at my home). And, honestly, it wasn't difficult to re-remember what I learnt by then.

@Ari.

I've got no clue.

A David Fonseca song, perhaps? :P

yup, it's basically a big violin with a bit different playing technique

I started to play it when i was 8 so i didnt even notice how bad it sounded at first haha but it must've been terrible!

Now after 10 years it's finally starting to sound actually somewhat good.. :lol:

i didn't knew that Iris :surprised:

i learnt piano by myself lol, i don't know if i'm so good at it.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=3jMTtYPRHyQ^Song title is 'Broken'

sorry for the quality, wasn't allowed to film in the theatre but some brave people did it (thanks Andreia).

I was there and was some magic when he played it, he played it alone, just with the guitar and the loop machine, really magic moment, he said it was the first time he played it in a concert and it even didn't had a title, he called then 'Música de Leiria', but since then he had played it on his last 2 concerts this week and this time he called it 'Broken'.

Lyrics.

Its in your eyes, an absent stare that cries again

I dont know why you take it out, you take it out on me again

and you fear, that when it breaks down i can't take the fall

we are already broken, broken.. you can't hurt me at all

so let it all come out now, let it all pour it down

just let it go, just throw it all on me now

you wanna drown me, you wanna show me how your world feels

my world is already broken, it was broken before i let you in

so go and burn me down, just tear it down in fire, flames, flames that get higher

and in the end, lay and sleep as the ashes fall

you, you'll be broken, we faded to it all

we faded to it all

oh god.

It must be a bit discouraging the fact that you've got to play an instrument during so many years so as to achieve that it sounds somewhat good!

Speaking about a different topic... what're you studying? What do you do in your real life?

@Ari.

oh god.

well it's only now that i've started to pay attention to the quality too..

10 or 12 year old kidos don't really know how to make real music. They just play the song without any emotion and that's it.

Well, i'll graduate from high school next spring and after that i hope to go to uni to study to become a dentist or something like that. I surely want to study biology or something that has something to do with humans!

@ iris:

bueno esa era casi obligatorio grabarla, era un tema nuevo ;)

@ rolle: i think you are right, kids just to play without emotion may be.

you graduate there in spring? :surprised:

cool degrees :D good luck on it :thumbsup:

Well, this isn't what their parents believe. They're so moved when seeing their kids playing an instrument that I guess they don't even realise whether they play it well or not.

Sorry, I've never been a kidos' girl if you know what I mean :uhoh:

Oh, about a couple of years before graduating I also thought I wanted to go for Biology though in the end I didn't.

@Ari.

Pues sí, y más aun si se trata de un tema nuevo.

haha well it is sweet to see little kids trying their best to play.

And it's just a fact that you can't actually play the songs with emotion before you're over 16 or something like that. The technique has to be good enough and you've gotta realize how the song goes and what the composer was thinking when he was composing the song.

estoy aqui !! :D

Oh, I see.

So the mental part has an important role when playing an instrument like that.

Good to know Daryl.

I thought you had... vanished! :vanish:

I am very busy tonight !

Sorry !

No worries.

Ari told me so a while ago (that you were busy with work).

Anyway, are you checking the official Coldplay site often? If not, you should do that just in case we're told how to get the tickets.

Yes !! each day and you ??

I am too, of course.

And I check it more than once per day because I feel a bit anxious when I think that I might miss this opportunity to see them live since there's only about 1000 free tickets. Anyway, if I find out more about it, I'll immediately let you know!

me too !!

We will go ! I am certain !

lucky you that will be there :cry: i can't :bigcry: i have an exam just the day after the concert :cry:

good luck for you both :kiss:

2 amazing gigs in week

Ari you will be there in spirt, if we go we will have a chupito for you !! :D

thanks daryl :cheesy:

i hope they will anounce european tours soon and to can plan which concerts to go too. :)
