well today i had decided to post a bit... i posted the 'review' and answered to another thread so i will leave another post here.

 

Some pics of my visit to Leiria yesterday, too bad that as it was raining when i had arrived i took few pics of the city :\

 

(sorry for the size, may them are too big).

 

 

^Ok once i had arrived there (at 11.00am) i got to this place, Jardim Luis de Camoes, is a huge garden.

 

^a view of the Castle from this centre area.

 

^one of the many many bridges that has the city, this one is the one that let you get to Bairro dos Anjos (i think it was that name), the river, is River Lis and people even go fishing there.

 

 

^getting inside the castle (at 13.00 am), i took a picture to the Hommage tower which has the flag of Portugal.

 

^ruins inside the castle of what used to be a collegiate church.

 

^a view from inside the castle to the city, this ons is the stadium. It was full of people and even more when i go there with the people i had made an appointment to (for the concert), at 16am. Leiria is on festivities on May and yesterday was the day of the city so it was a Fair there, there were some small shops, places to ride and have fun, cool, too bad that we didn't stopped there too much.

 

^from inside the castle, a view to the palace, (where seems that used the live the king), it is so cool.

 

 

^one of the halls of the palace. (the rooms have no forniture, but i liked the windows).

 

^you get to the castle, from this road, this building is the Sé (cathedral) of Leiria. (i wanted to had visited it, but i didn't had time, neither to visit Santa Ana Market :()

 

^a fountain near the posto de turismo.

 

 

^the reason why i had visited Leiria yesterday, the ticket of the concert :dance:

 

^i took 4 pics of this one, and this one seems to be the best one, the surface is slightly bended and is too shinnt is the best i could do.. is a pin of David :P it says Dreams in Colours (that last word with a different colour on each letter) and is david on teh pic. Sorry for this one to be so blurry.

 

^i didn't ride on anything fo the fair, but i bought this bracelet on a shop, is handmade, and i had to order it. I choose those colours (Green, Red and Yellow) because them are the colours of Portugal an Spain flags respectively, and the name Duarte, is a person name and also a surname, i choose it for the surname, as is a surname of my mother side. This surname origins are Portuguese, from a king of Portugal that lived in Lamego -if i remember that well- that is near where i am living :D

 

^finally this is the design of a t-shirt i bought. I suggest the worker to make another t-shirt with some sentences of the song 'This Raging Light'.

 

That's all, i wish i had taken more pics, but it was raining most of the time. I took a short video on the dinner but i can't post it as i don't know of to upload it to a good site.

 

I had a great time there and many dreams come true:

1. visit Leiria before i go back to Spain

2. do a trip by myself

3. attend to a David concert

4. take part on one of his board convivio.

5. meet in person some users of his board (i met 11-13 people).

6. met David in person* although i was too silent to said a word :embarassed:

 

but as i hope i'll come back to Portugal this summer, i hope i take part on another convivio and so to meet again David this time be brave to say something. :D

Strange why your images ain't displaying, there isn't anything wrong with the codes

nothing wrong with the codes, i used the usual ones, and at first it did displayed them, but see now them aren't shown :\ i guess it must be for some back-up :uhoh:

and them are uploaded on a site of mine, on geocities.

Exactamente esto es lo que pasó. En seguida se daban cuenta de tu nacionalidad y te decían algunas palabras para atraerte y para que les compraras alguno de sus productos.

 

A decir verdad paso del todo de la política, no tengo interés por el tema.

 

Sí, fue muy bonita la boda, todo en sí. Y además ver a los familiares tan arreglados y todo eso... Y al final barra libre!! hahaha
