Eminem???

A survey by Q magazine has revealed that rapper Eminem is considered the most powerful man in the music industry.

According to The Sun, the bad boy of the music industry won over rock icons like Bob Dylan who was voted as the 26th most powerful musician and Sir Paul McCartney who was listed at number 16.

U2 frontman Bono piped Coldplay singer Chris Martin to the 9th spot on the list, which named the 100 most powerful people in the music industry. Britney Spears was voted as the 17th most powerful artist.

The survey threw up more surprises as the creator of iPod, Jonathan Ive tied up with Apple boss Steve Job to be voted at the second spot. The two were chosen because of their contribution to he music industry.

 eminem! :dozey:

Eminem has an Oscar!... :idea2:

i do'nt understand in what sense they mean Powerful....to do what?

perhaps influence in people!????

hmm, well, if it's influence, i actually would say eminem over Chris Martin, coz just think of all the fans in America, whereas Coldplay only have a small percent of fans. it's the same as people like Mariah Carey.

^I agree with ya David! ;)

Yeah I suppose Eminem has more influence over people, but if we were talking talent I would defo go with Chris. :P
