Glad someone said that, I thought I was the only one who felt bugged by that ! The atmosphere of this song is totally ruined in the MX ("wannabe hard rock") and AHFOD ("give me a whoop whoop") tour versions imho. I sometimes have to do that kind of thing as well to remind me of why this is my favourite band. But then when I listen to an early album, it doesn't take me long to get reminded of why I fell in love with their music. I also frequently look at it this way: Whatever negative direction they have taken or might take in their music, they will always be the people who created I Ran Away. The people who created the X&Y album. The people who created AROBTTH. And nothing in the world can ever change anything about that. :heart:

When I became familiar with Coldplay' work, I realized that I had heard Talk, Don't Panic and Princess of China before.
