Yeah, sadly it was before the infection too - the massive substitution of tracks happened around the time of the Paris shows, as people found out in that other thread. Just saw this on Reddit - apparently he slipped up on Yellow too during the global broadcast. Oh man, that was really not his night.

Yes, I noticed it too. During Biutyful it was painfully obvious, but also during some other tracks like People of the Pride where Chris's voice is at the very least doubled by a high volume backing track (and some lines/sounds seem to fully come off the tape). Unfortunately he didn't quite get the timing of the words in the intro right, which exposed the track to the listener. The number of songs lipsynced has increased in this tour, to up to 8-9 around the halfway point of the European Tour. People found that out by analysing videos. There used to be a thread about it. It must be very difficult on Chris to sing all these nights in a row. I personally wish he'd embrace his vocal imperfections and sing more live. On the other hand, if singing it all live would risk him losing his voice and not being able to tour anymore, that would be devastating.

Did some digging and found the track that was sampled. I think it's the faint vocals in the back you can hear in the intro of the Astronaut. You can hear it clearly in the IEM recordings of the MOTS Tour shows - not only in the Biutyful intro, but also in the Fix You into mixed in with the Midnight sounds.

Exactly this. I personally love The Astronaut, it's a great pop song! But like HP and MU it feels like it lacks the buildup/dynamics that Coldplay have classically done so well (e.g. Politik, Fix You, many more), it just repeats with little change and of course Jonny is muted again.

At the moment, it seems like a playlist of songs that have been played at some point during the MOTS tour. Orphans and Coloratura were both played in the first Latin American leg of the tour half a year ago. Unfortunately doesn't mean they are on the setlist now. They have been trying out a shortened version of Coloratura recently though, so that might make a comeback.

But that is with H.E.R, and the OP is looking for a high quality recording with Hannah Reid... (unfortunately I don't have one either)

Possibly, they seem to be taking it slow this time around. Asia, Oceania and Canada have not even had a first leg, so, as has been rumoured, the tour will probably stretch over several years and possibly all three MOTS releases. I wouldn't be surprised if it ended in 2025.

Hi and welcome. Don't worry, they have stated several times that they will continue touring until well into their old age if they can. Also, they will make 12 studio albums in total, so three more albums are yet to come. The next album MOTS Vol. ii could possibly be released next year since Chris has hinted at adding new songs into the setlist for the 2023 continuation of the MOTS tour.

Hi, floor standing tickets all cost the same. I don't know the price for Portugal (maybe someone else can say how much it was), but in other European countries they were between 90-115 EUR. Ticketmaster has a very bad habit of increasing the prices of leftover tickets, so that if you buy now, they might try to charge you several hundred Euros for a floor ticket which is THE SAME TICKET TYPE that usually costs 90-115. So please don't buy that, you will NOT get any better view or any advantage. I'd recommend you to wait until closer to the show and buy a floor ticket from another fan who can't go at face value. Close to the date, there will be many such opportunities. As for the view, it depends on how long you are willing to queue. Many fans start queuing very early (7 or 8am) to get close to the stage. It's simple, those who manage to get in early can choose their standing spot. There is one additional ticket category called Early Entry, it's priced around 230-260 EUR and allows you to be part of a group of ca. 1000 people in a separate queue who get to enter ther stadium before everyone with normal tickets. You have to queue early for this too to get a good spot, but it kind of guarantees you to get barrier.

Lots of bottled up emotions about this from the last days getting out now. One last thing: I hate it when artists who have been privileged to have found global success and legions of fans to whom that art means the world taint that art with their own horrible actions as human beings. Every day i think about it i consider myself lucky that the band that means the world to me (and to all of us here) has never had any allegations, not even the shadow of a doubt. If anything like that were ever to be revealed about any member of Coldplay, it would be the end of the world for me (and probably for most/all of us).
