  1. Hi! Coldplay is currently on tour and will be until 2025: http://www.coldplay.com/tour/
  2. No. The meet and greets that people have been getting are not dependent on ticket type and cannot be bought with money.
  3. Not too late, but make sure you are there before 4.15pm, because that's when the doors might actually open for the Early Entry people (before that it's a queue outside) Best in my opinion is close to the main stage (A-stage), or at the angle between A-stage and catwalk, this is where the band will be most of the time. Unless you prefer to have more interaction with Chris than the rest of the band, then the B-stage (the circular stage at the end of the catwalk) Bathroom - you have to fight your way out and then back to your spot, this only works if you tell the people around you to hold your spot for you. Make sure you have the wristband for your floor section and ticket with you when you go out, otherwise security might not let you back to your spot. Just squeeze your way back through people, don't be frightened, people are sometimes nasty on purpose and won't budge or spread out on the floor picknick style but it is your right to go to the toilet and back. Just say 'sorry, excuse me, pardon' a lot and find a way through 🙂 I have done it many times and always made it back to the front row. Bags allowed usually have to be smaller than A4 - please check your local stadium in Gothenburg for their rules. Plastic bottles are usually permitted if only water is in them and you remove the cap. Snacks are not allowed, either hide something really well in your bag or you'll have to buy food inside. Have fun!
  4. Hi, I'm looking for one (1) ticket for the first Amsterdam show on July 15. If you have a ticket for sale, or have bought Infinity Tickets and need someone for the second ticket, DM me! I will be in Amsterdam around the days of the show, so I would prefer a personal exchange.
  5. Extremely annoying, yeah, listen I TOTALLY understand if you no longer want the guitar and I'm happy to help you there and take it off you so it doesn't remind you of the swearwords ...for real, though: I'm generally very averse myself to gratuitous swearing or any kind of vulgarity in media, so I understand where you're coming from. But in the case of Everyday Life, I can tolerate it without problems because the swearing is there for a reason. And it is so effective precisely because Coldplay are not the type of band who throw in ten f-words in each song in general. In Trouble in Town, it's a real audio recording of a police officer harassing a person of color - that's their lived reality, so I'd say we can be happy we only have to hear it in a song and not while in such a situation. In Arabesque and Guns, it's an expression of outrage at the state the world is in. Them only using swearwords in these songs on very serious topics is a statement in itself. I do feel in POTP it's not as effective in its placement within the lyrics as on the EL songs though.
  6. Fancy seeing you here after all this time! I feel that Moon Music will be more MOTS style pop too. What do you think about Coloratura though?
  7. Well that's a fancy way of saying "I made all of this up" 😬
  8. Just approved it! I don't know why it was (automatically) hidden as it didn't break any rules.
  9. Heart on fire is an AHFOD era demo, Back to Life a fan made edit from the live performance at the Apollo (i think), Col... is a fan troll, Deserter is an AROBTTH era demo and Mining on the moon a Viva era demo
  10. I can't give you the reasonings on why things changed, but I can give you an update from what I observed. The Oracle was run by Debs Wild. Debs is still with the band and helps out fans, for example when they have trouble with the Coldplay store. She also answers the emails sent to the Coldplay contact formular on the website as far as I know. I don't know why The Oracle was discontinued but my guess is that she has a lot of things on her plate, and this way she still stays in touch with fans! (I'd personally love if The Oracle came back though :P) Roadie42 (also known as Miller) was still pretty much active throughout the Everyday Life era! He accompanied the AHFOD Tour by taking band and fan pics/videos during every concert. He got married around the EL era if I recall correctly, and in that era even his lovely wife posted lots of Coldplay content on Instagram! Unfortunately she stopped that when some entitled "fans" sent her rude messages. But back to R42 himself, the only difference since AHFOD was that the content was posted on Coldplay's social media, mostly Instagram, rather than in the form of website blogs, probably reflecting the general success of social media over old-style web content (such as forums ;)) The last time I saw him in person (and I was able to say hello to him :D)) was at the London gig in 2019. I don't know how active he is on the MOTS tour, since Coldplay have their own tour photographer (Stevie Rae Gibbs) now I suspect he might be taking a break. And I kinda hope he does take some time to just enjoy family life after more than two decades of non-stop serving the best content to the fandom! I would like to point out that ever since the EL and pandemic era, Phil has been so active on Twitter and interacted a lot with fans. And he is clearly interested in hearing our opinions and takes our feedback seriously. In a way, to me, it feels the band are much closer to us now than they were in, say, the AHFOD era. Can't comment on the earlier eras because I wasn't around.

  15. Fun, a highlight on AHFOD for me
  16. I'm very partial to their set at the Isle of Wight Festival 2006. The setlist is awesome, the energy in their performance is just amazing, the mood of both the audience and the band is elated, and the cover of Perfect Day ist just the icing on the cake of a perfect concert.
  17. Zimbabwe, where Chris's mom comes from and where he spent some time as a child
