I didn't know they had been to this Italian show before...And haha, did you see how they showed Will's look when Chris started "harassing" Jonny ? :D It's almost as if Will had this alert, wait-what's-going-there look :D About Talk....unfortunately, I have to agree there. I love the X&Y Era and I absolutely love the studio version of Talk, it's among my favorite Coldplay songs and I already liked the song when I didn't know its name and had never heard of a band called Coldplay. But after I kept looking for a good live version, I was disappointed to find that most live performances of Talk for some reason sound dull, lifeless and a bit awkward. Of course the fact that Chris's gesturing and crawling and general behaviour during that song are the weirdest and make him look insane don't help (I know it's supposed to be a nod to Kraftwerk's robot theme, but one can exaggerate...), but it's also really in the sound mix and the singing style, because the audios alone sound awkward as well. There is one live performance of Talk that I like very much though, because it sounds really energetic. It's this one, please listen to it:

Something odd "happened" to me today. :) I began listening to Parachutes this morning. It was a crisp autumn morning, not too cold, bit of sun, but not entirely grey sky, and the warm sound of Parachutes was exactly what met my mood. As the day progressed, I couldn't think of anything else that fit my mood and so I kept listening to Parachutes in its entirety... currently on the 6th rotation ! I have never listened to one entire album so many times over in a row. I think I never realized its pure beauty and magnificent production as much as today. Don't Panic gives you that warm "everything is all right" feeling right from the start, and then Yellow with its good mood, and Trouble as a quiet anthem, and We Never Change with its simplicity...sublime.

Does the song whose lyrics we need to look at happen to be Moses ?

It's not gonna happen but I wish Ken Nelson and Rik Simpson would be the producer again....

I dislike Stargate's production, especially the fact that they often throw in these chopped up vocal snippets in the background, ruining songs like AOAL or Army of One for me...

Thanks for your explanation, @beastwars, but i think the Prospekt's March EP didn't show anything in terms of musical direction that wasn't already apparent from the actual album (ok, maybe the Jay-Z thing). Agree that Atlas and Miracles foreshadowed the future album sounds pretty well, but I don't think the EP will because it will be a hundred percent "leftovers" from the AHFOD recording sessions, I think.
