Kaleidoscope EP
Hmm, I have to say I'm not so sure about that part. The Prospekt's March EP's sound and style were 100% Viva Era and in retrospect I can't find any hint of the sound or style of the MX Era in it...

Oh no, seems it will come out next year only... but better taking your time for good songs than rushing things to put out XMTS Part 2 or something, I guess...

The Church of Chris Martin. (Update: Have declared a TRUCE to the holy war on Coldplaying!)
Guys, please stop to think for a second just how many good and meaningful things you could do in the time that you spend writing incoherent ramblings on your website or nonsensical responses to 7 year-old posts. Sincerely, The Church of Common Sense

Kaleidoscope EP
It was in August (Rose Bowl show), but I think this is still plenty of time. Really like the guitar in this and I hope we will get to hear it as a song !

Interesting. I mean I get that you shouldn't deliberately make fun of a flag or use it in context of rude gestures etc., but I would never have imagined there are such strict codes about it, and honestly I wouldn't have associated a flag touching the ground with disrespect and might have made that 'mistake' too because I wouldn't dreamt of it being a problem. Like I said, in my country I have never heard of such a thing, and a quick google didn't return any code of behavior (i also have to say the flag is almost never displayed here, while in the US seemed to be hanging in every corner). Different cultures, different customs I guess. Well, we all know the intention of Coldplay on their tours is exactly the opposite - showing respect for the country they visit and giving the concert a local flavour to make the audience happier - so that's what counts for me personally.

[2016-11-19] Coldplay headline Global Citizen Festival in India
Can you explain in which way ? I'm just curious because in my country I have the impression not much value is placed on the flag (perhaps due to our history), so I would like to hear what others think.

I completely agree with @alisbe here. I think it's highly unfair to say "crowd is dead" or something. Everyone has his own way to enjoy a concert, some people do so by living the moment and dancing and jumping as if there was no tomorrow, others (myself included, to be honest) by standing more quietly in amazement and trying to be very attentive and take everything in as well as filming parts as a souvenir. Some of these people have been Coldplay fans for 16 years and have never had the chance to see them live until today, and know it may be their only chance. I'm not surprised many people wanna capture this on their phones, they are not "dead", they are just enjoying it in a different way.

Thanks for the info about the Voot app, @Gideon_Mx. And thanks for the words, @oldiefan. In the end I couldn't make watching it live today (and it seems there was no reliable livestream anyway ?) but let's hope there will be a video. Yeah, there is lots of flag outrage on Twitter: https://twitter.com/search?f=tweets&vertical=default&q=coldplay flag&src=typd We know of course that it was actually meant as a sign of respect and is something he does with every country that Coldplay perform in, and I have to say I wouldn't have thought it is considered disrespectful in India until I read this. In retrospect of course it was a mistake and the tour team should have researched the Indian flag-related customs better. Hope this won't blow up into something big.

Lookin for a Careful where you stand live
Sadly, I don't believe a recorded live version exists, although the song was indeed performed live 4 times (notably at Glastonbury 1999 and the Bull&Gate gig). I'd absolutely love to hear a live performance too, I love this song !

So...does anyone have an idea how to watch outside India, or at what time we can expect Coldplay ?

[2016-11-11] Coldplay on Graham Norton show
Now I finally managed to watch the whole thing....this Michael comedian guy and his jokes were insufferable, but other than that actually quite nice. Especially the Scientist backwards part, Jonny coming out of nowhere and the Buckin at the end.

Kaleidoscope EP
WOW ! I never heard this clip before. This has got some alternative rock vibes, and as you said, the guitar melody has got something of a darker edge to it. I hope we get to hear this song (and I hope we get to hear a non-Stargatified version because I trust Stargate to even turn this melody into a sappy pop dance track with their unnecessary effects!!)

Thanks for your words, @ChrisMartinFan. Sometimes it's really hard not to feel depressed when you look at the world, and I have to say that I feel while small good actions, actions of love and kindness, go a long way and are really important, many problems in the world are inherent in human nature and society and the "systems" if you will, and that those are beyond the reach of actions of kindness. You know what I mean ? But anyway, still very happy for Indian fans to get to see Coldplay for the first time tomorrow ! Do we have any idea when (Mumbai time) Coldplay are gonna come on ? Just wondering so as to find out when to get up to listen to it...

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear that coldplay song?
the beautiful, warm feeling that comes from this song and the line "and I love you pleeeeeeeeeeease come home", I love Chris's voice in that line Yellow

must identify a Coldplay song
Instead of actually phoning, why don't you record your playing/singing as an mp3 (with a smartphone for example) and then send it to somebody via Private Message ? You'd be welcome to write me a message if you wanna do that. These are probably too obscure for being played publicly anywhere, but since some fulfill the criteria of only piano + entirely falsetto (which is very rare, do you really mean entirely ?!), have a look at this playlist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=jmRvoDuga-0;list=PL59113FFC9AAD9209
