I finally made it to the post office today, I'm terribly sorry for the delay but I was so stressed out in the last couple of days and could never make it in time for the post office working hours ! But according to the post my Santa match is still gonna receive it a few days before Christmas, so everything should be fine :)

Yes, same in my place....despite the fact that I don't like this album musically, Happy Birthday to A Head Full Of Dreams - at least it gave us a beautiful artwork, a new tour, and its promotion gave me an opportunity to see Coldplay up close for the very first time ! :)

The awesome chant at the beginning, and the rumor about it that it was stolen from a Vietnamese song...sadly, I listened to that rumored song and I have to say the POC chant does sound exactly like the Vietnamese chant. But a great chant, no doubt about that ! And a great singalong at concerts. Harmless

Well, for me it's the opposite. When I feel emotionally down, I listen to Coldplay songs all the more. Like other people have said before, they are like a safe place to go to. Why would you think you would never live their concerts again ? I love watching my shaky self-made footage, also when I'm down, because it reminds me that even though life was difficult there were great moments such as this one.

I wrote, when we only had the album artwork (a moving gif of it, which looked psychedelic enough) and the AOAL riff. Not the whole song. The riff was unveiled as a teaser before the song came out, and from the riff alone it was not apparent what a mainstream dance pop track this would be.

Haha good one ! I actually thought about this recently, you know how many older people get nostalgic when they hear the music of the times when they were young (for example the Beatles or Pink Floyd) and they remember those times and if applicable, how they saw them live. Well, one day we're all gonna have grey hair and wistfully think back of the times of our youth, and every time we hear a Coldplay song this period of our lives is gonna come back to us, and we will tell our children and grandchildren how we saw these legends live....

To all those saying Kaleidoscope might be an experimental EP etc., I just wanted to say: Remember a bit over a year ago, when we had the Album artwork and the AOAL riff ? Remember how people said, wow, Coldplay is going towards Indian-inspired psychedelia ? How people said this is gonna be Coldplay's "Sergeant Pepper"? And remember how it turned out to be Coldplay's most mainstream pop record if all time ? Don't expect too much...

It's these short Aaah and Oooah's in the background during the lines beginning with "It's a fool's gold thunder..." - to me they always sounded like someone is throwing up sick in the background... :D
