I ran away

I woke up shortly after falling asleep last night and no matter how hard I tried couldn't go back to sleep again, even though I was desperate to catch some sleep because today I need to work a lot on data today, for which I wanted to be rested... After tossing and turning for hours, I just gave up and decided to "start" the day. It's 6 am and I just put the Parachutes CD in, the perfect album for early mornings. Hope that Coldplay and Coke and Coffee will get me through the day :D

I found the chopped up background vocals and the disco beat and the use of standards trick of the trade (like the beat drop) and the Wohooos in the end all a bit unoriginal, sounding like many other songs nowadays sound. One thing I can say now more strongly than last year: I think the AHFOD album artwork is amazing ! So that's one upside for me.

Since the update, quite frequently when I visit the forums homepage, the information on top of the page (alerts, link to profile, search function etc. and also the stuff that should appear in green underneath) don't appear at all. Eveything is blank, and when that happens I have to reload the entire page to be able to see the alerts etc.

Great ! Can you recommend a Youtube download website ? The one I was using for years recently stopped service for any video that contains music, no doubt due to copyright issues, and I have tried several others but they all fail when it comes to longer videos, or you cannot choose the quality.

LOL, you guys got me following this game in a live minute-blog (and until I did this, I thought it was a Football game... :embarrassed: my knowledge about sports in America is very limited. I have never watched a baseball game, and I've only ever made it through one halftime of a football game, to be more precise I made it through because i was waiting for the Halftime Show headline by a certain somebody, and left immediately afterwards ;)) So still tied, and now paused due to rain ! Go Cubs ! :D (I'm just burning the midnight oil working on something boring, so it is a welcome entertainment to follow it :) Also listening to lots of Coldplay live performances the whole night...)

She is having a major surgery, and if I remember correctly today, Nov 3rd, is the day. Let's hope everything goes well and let's wish her a smooth and speedy recovery ! I didn't know it had anything to do with a preorder... I used to rule the world think I knew a lot about Coldplay, but in this thread I learn something new in every riddle and realize how little I really know !! :D This song was recorded in a London studio that doesn't exist anymore, it has been produced by someone Coldplay work with very often and it was supposed to be on an album, but didn't make it.
