  1. Does it also slightly irritate you when news outlets writing about the SB50 show title "Beyonce and Coldplay" in that order ?!
  2. I meant the line might be out of VLV but we know this is Clue 2, so it might lead to 42 I thought...
  3. For some reason I can't explain, I know St. Peter won't call my name - 42 ?
  4. I would love to watch it with other Coldplayers but I don't know anybody.... :(
  5. Ebay UK...for selling it's OK but remember if you wanna buy that tickets are overpriced on ebay !
  6. Yeah I thought that too but look at the first 2 gifs that Batman posted on the last page !
  7. Coldplay have always had religious/biblical references but earlier they were more lyrical devices (which I'm totally OK with) as in God put a smile upon your face, Jerusalem bells etc. Now recently with the tattoo, the lyrics of Amazing Day "life has a beautiful, crazy DESIGN...thanks God, you must have heard when I prayed" and the Birds video it is becoming a bit too much for me personally (btw, I don't care about the angels reference in HFTW, which is again mostly a lyrical device). I don't know, I am just very wary of all religions - I believe religions and religious clashes are one of the biggest reasons for major conflicts between humans - and feel a bit uncomfortable that Chris now tries to shove religious messages in your face, instead of subtle references earlier. It's a persony opinion, it just makes me feel uncomfortable. OMG Chris, science really does not speak as loud as your heart.... :-/ And for the record, don't wanna fight about religion and atheism here. So peace and I hope I haven't offended anyone....
  8. We once had pages full of poop lyrics in the LP7 thread, I'm sure you woudl have like them :D
  9. Just out of curiosity, during which concert did Jonny publicly drink alcohol on stage ??
  10. I bet there will be some people booing right at the beginning just because they know its gonna be "Coldplay"... but by the end the will have been silenced !
  11. Wait, I just saw this article. Where can I bet something on Coldplay's opening and closing songs ??
  12. I really hope it's just the boat's name and not an obscure Christian reference....
  13. I don't know, just don't like them as much as his very memorable but simple earlier ones like (for example) in In My Place, Shiver,....even Charlie Brown
  14. both did not really convince me for the better part of AHFOD...
  15. Funny, I didn't like the live versions of those too much either becasue I don't liek the melodies too much. MX melodies were overall better, imho ! :)
  16. Cemeteries Of London ?
  17. Oh OK. I'll remember to ask you then :D
  18. Again, standard of living and wealth discrepancy plays a huge factor in expectations, I think. But then again we shouldn't say it's like that in India, it's OK for us. For the record, I can count several undeniably negative things about India too (rape related views and politics, Hindu extremism, persecution of Muslims...). I think it's very healthy to be aware of one's culture's/society's shortcomings though. Unfortunately it's not only the past. Look at anti-black racsim here in the US for example. Look at our profit(oil)-oriented meddling in the middle east, which over the past decades has contributed in destabilizing the region and ultimately helped the rise of terrorism like ISIS. Look at our support for countries like Saudi-Arabia who abuse human rights every single day - but we support them because we have strategic and financial interests ! Don't wanna get too political here because these things have nothing to do with Coldplay video, though. I am just reflecting generally on cultural tensions.
  19. Well, I think the Jonny riffs on MX were way better than those on AHFOD (just think of Charlie Brown, HLH...) Were MX goes more in the direction of pop-rock, AHFOD has more disco beats which I'm really not into. Also, I really love listening to Chris's amazing voice but recently it has been going downhill and the scratchiness of it on some songs in AHFOD like Everglow makes it more of a pain than a pleasure to listen to it... Lastly, Army Of One and XMTS are for me among the worst and most forgettable Coldplay songs ever made.... There you go, those are my main reasons. Of all Newplay albums, I probably still like MX the most, I realized :)
  20. I watched the first two minutes of this garbage then I decided that almost any other possible activity I could do within the next 12 minutes was gonna be more worthwhile than this so I left it at that... :D
  21. Yes ! Nie got it right first but for the wrong reason...anthamic got the reasoning right ! "here's a thread" So I dunno who should do the next one, discuss it among yourselves :D
  22. That's an off-topic, @Jedi Leo but did you actually reach your goal in California (the girl....?)
