Hm, I don't know if this is my depression talking or not but...similar to the post above, I really do feel more and more underwhelmed the more I know about the release. Everything, the supposed album cover (flipped image, same artist) to the writing (font, colour gradient, foreign typeface) to the track titles (Wonders of the World/Power Of The People (?), Sunrise, track that is probably represented by an image like Colour Spectrum) make it feel like a continuation of AHFOD. I was hoping for them to take their time (rather a bit longer, I had hoped...would have been fine with them coming back with one solid album in 2020) and kind of start again in a new way with something completely and utterly different. Now what I kind of think is, this will continue the AHFOD attitude and cheesy lyrics with maybe a bit of a darker undertone, but won't really be something NEW, you know what I mean ?

You're not alone with that opinion :D By the way I'm finding it really frustrating that after all this time and buildup we still know nothing, and I mean seriously NOTHING at all about how the band will sound on the album.

Same, was a bit underwhelmed by the album art. It looks a bit lazy to be honest. Let's hope the music is not like that though !

Quickly popping in here to say, I'm a little bit disappointed with the album art. For 20 years now Coldplay had something abstract on their album covers and now having band images imho doesn't make sense. Especially this image which isn't the best one... Also I agree, with the image being (kind of) mirrored and the colourful writing in another language it comes off as an AHFOD copy LOL. I was hoping for a new font/style. About the tracklist, it's hard to tell what to expect - in the past we all thought AICTAIY is some cheesy pop song for example but then it turned out to be the exact opposite. The title certainly look strange though. Also, anyone remember "Drunks and Guns" from the MX Era ?

I wonder if we will get more unconventional promo sent to individual fans or released in individual manners, mirroring the various decades within that century! That would be such a cool idea. The whole marketing campaign reminds me of the one Radiohead did for their 2016 album (iirc they turned all their social media accounts to blank and sent out letter with mystic messages to fans).

Yeah, that is something that crossed my mind as well. Next year won't be 100 years but 101 years. On that note, IF there is a release next year though...do you think the second poster will see the band in a 1969/1970 setting ? Like, 50 yrs of sunrise and 50 yrs of sunset in that century... Btw I feel this album is gonna be so political. "How we feel about things"
