Oh, @cp3176 is back with his monster posts :D That is one of my main worries about the future of Coldplay, actually. His voice already started declining after the Viva Tour imho :( Really ? Where ? :O I agree with your review of EL. It is touching in parts but something is missing.

I'm actually really sad that although this song had so much potential it falls a bit flat in the end... :(

Love the first three quarters (especially the instrumental), underwhelmed by the ending though with those hallelujahs. And it ends too abruptly.

Hi, seeing as we have more activity on this forum right now and we're also about to celebrate one year of AHFOD Film, here is a new game ! Someone posts a quote from the film and another user has to guess who said it. I think he is a technically good singer but his voice doesn't have the depth or intensity of Chris's. That's why I prefer Will on backing vocals. Although I have to say In My Place Live in Sao Paolo is really beautiful.

I still haven't seen a proper transcript of the emails in the Orphans video, but I read somewhere that apparently in one of the emails it is stated that the concept of the rotating room was to make it a room with no directions/borders, no North and South, no East and West. And I think the rotated world map with the however readable writing supports this concept. The band is trying to say there is no such thing as North and South or East and West, every place on earth is equal and everything a question of perspective. Which is such an important message.

Sounds like a 1920s slow dance song to me. I'm afraid I didn't like the snippet, but at least this Coldplay record will be incredibly diverse, style-wise !
