And now I listened to the entire Riot Of Colours album (a local band who has their debut out a few days ago). Am a bit disappointed, they were so much better when i saw them live. The album filler tracks are not that great...

I don't know, I am sure Coldplay would premiere the first single off their new album with BBC1 and no other station.

Oldplay is gone forever. All we can hope for is for AHFOD to have *some* artistic value and not to be a generic pop album. That's really all we can realistically wish for at this point in Coldplay's career.

I listened to both albums Atom Heart Mother and Wish You Were Here back to back now. Especially Atom Heart Mother is such an underrated album. I don't know why PF fans don't seem to like it that much, for me the suite in the beginning is pure artistry and songs like If, Fat Old Sun and Summer 68 are great songs. Wish Coldplay would try out this style...who knows, maybe AHFOD will bring at least one song like that !

I don't think so, BBC1 stated they will be playing the surprise from dusk till dawn. Doesn't sound like a tour announcement to me, sounds like a song.
