Oops, I edited it ! Guys, I just noticed it's a double elimination. That means even if we bring out Death will never conquer on top, Viva might be second place ! We need to vote for another song as well in order to save Viva. It requires careful planning. I hereby withdraw my vote for Death Will Never Conquer and vote for The Goldrush instead. My plan is it to bring it to second place to save Viva. If you wanna save Viva, vote either the Goldruch or Death will never conquer.

X&Y, AROBTTH and VLVODAAHF are good for any time of the day in my opinion ;) That being said, I also choose a lot depending on my current mood. When I feel angry, AROBTTH is the better choice for me and when I feel depressed, it is X&Y. When I feel upbeat I'm more likely to choose VLVODAAHF. When I feel at peace with the world it's Parachutes. When I feel in celebratory mood, MX is not that bad (although I don't like it very much). I don't...For rainy days I need something upbeat to prevent my mood from going down.

For me, only Parachutes and GS are time-of-day-sensitive Coldplay albums. I don't have particular listening times for the other albums. As for the EPs, i like listening to Safety and Brothers and Sisters in evenings and sometimes mornings too, cause they have the same warm melancholy feeling like Parachutes.

To me they have a hip hop style feeling...at least he is not wearing oversize shirts and bling bling gold chains, lol :D

Does anyone else agree that evening, when the light becomes dimmer and dusk begins to fall is, the best time of day to listen to Parachutes ? Parachutes is just such a warm album.

Forgive me for what I'm about to say, but just this behavior of buying the albums even if you don't like most of the songs on them might be one of the reasons why Coldplay don#r realize how many people they've alienated with their new styles. They don't see a drop in sales, so they think, great, everyone still loves our work. it might be refreshing for them to actually realize that a large proportion of the older ans are disappointed, and not buying the disc might be a way of bringing that to their attention. If you still want the disc in order for your collection etc., a good alternative in this respect is buying it in a used condition and not new. On another note, The Adversary asked about collaborations. I alway believe Coldplay are at their best without any collaboration; however, if they choose someone of today's pop music world to lend their voice to one for their songs, I would want it to be Lana Del Rey. Her voice is very special and while I don't like the themes of her songs, most her songs have a beautiful heavy instrumental. Her voice just fits accompanying "heavy" instrumental arrangements and would thus fit into an album sound complemented by string and horns.

Exactly. Also, that means for me that every album (for I consider GS to be an album song) has at least one song I absolutely love, and this in turn gives me hope that there is at least one song to look forward to on LP7.
