I ran away

The girl looked around and realized she had teleported into London....but something was wrong. It was the London of the 1960s !

She said "I don't smoke, thanks. Wow - where have you come from ?"

Out of the rainbow came flying the one and only Nyan Cat, along with her sophisticated music that had made her so famous !

And suddenly, she heard a melody rising from the heartbeat - the distinct organ sound she had heard earlier, then joined by the piano melody and a whirl of other melodies, all so very comforting, as Chris and everything else slipped gradually away and the melodies melted with the ringing of....her alarm clock !

When she told him all she needed was comfort in her miserable life, he reflected for a moment, his hand over his eyes, before he looked up again and said: "I have an idea: Listen. Just listen....."

As they were sipping their herbal tea, the small girl said: "You know, my life is a sad one and I'm always crying. Chris, now that I have helped you, do you think there is any way you could help me in return ?"

But nothing was wrong anymore - the statue unfroze, Chris's jacket flew back into his hand, and the girl who had been turned into stone flew back into an old car that had been standing behind them.

Chris got red as a rush of blood shot into his head, but he did it nonetheless.

When he saw her, he stopped in his tracks, and, raising his startlingly blue eyes to her, said softly "I am so glad someone came along. See this sculpture ? It...she was alive. Before I messed up, and she turned to stone. I...I need to get back to the start."

Suddenly, she realized that someone was in fact watching her: Not far from her, a man wearing a white pullover was crouched over...a body ?!

She followed the sound until she arrived in the woods, but upon her arrival there, the sound faded and gave way to a quiet piano melody.

A well deserved ending, once again ! Yay ! Can I start a new one ? Once upon a time, a small girl was sitting in her room crying her eyes out when she heard a faint organ sound somewhere in the distance.

I opened a Pink Floyd Thread today...

....considering that the new album will have many songs, that may well Be a Minor question, though...

Meanwhile, Will pulls out his Jerusalem bells, and starts ringing them.

Jonny still looked slightly uncomfortable and began saying quietly to her: "I appreciate that you like him, but do you know how it feels, when all these years I look in his direction, and he pays me no attention, does he ? But I know you won't listen to me..."

Suddenly Jonny turned up, with a frown on his eyes, and said: "Sorry, I didnt mean to interrupt you, but girl, could I have a word with you in private, please ?"

And no one knew what came next.

All of a sudden, everything went foggy and the Roller Coaster came to a halt, while a giant sign in the sky read: BEWARE. You are entering the Realm of the Princess of China.

You'll see ! I have the feeling that millions of Brits share my taste and have already realized what a serious contender Crazy Frog is with respect to Coldplay.

As there doesnt seem to be a thread on this band yet, I thought I'd open one. So, any people who like Pink Floyd on here ? Which albums/pieces do you like most ? My fav albums are AHM, DSOM, WYWH... My fav pieces are Time, Us and Them, Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast, Summer 68, Shine on you crazy diamond, Anybody out there, The grand vizier's garden party... Sometimes I wonder what it would sound like if Coldplay would go prog rock, but I guess this will never happen.
