I agree somewhat, that's why I said to tack O at the end if Coldplay had released those onto the actual album. Well actually, O (Reprise) is an amazing way to end off the album IMO... that song is beyond words and I just can't describe. I agree with a lot of your post except having O (Reprise) at the beginning... there's no way IMO that could work as an intro. I'd put it after O/Fly On.

I'm sorry, your counting is inaccurate. EDIT: Ignore this post, you're right... at one point @Nie was part of the people who voted for CoL. That person then switched over to Strawberry... however @Ellie Joel Sarah still made the vote count 9. I mis-interpreted that person's saying that they wanted to switch over to Strawberry, I thought that person only wanted to... but they actually did, is that how you interpreted it, making the count CoL - 8 and SS - 9. You win for today I guess... unless @Ellie Joel Sarah does eventually come down the line and says that they only wanted to and she never actually did. With that being said I vote for Cemeteries of London! (If my new interpretation of @Ellie Joel Sarah's statement is correct...)

For the GS one, I do agree in that it'd make the length of the album longer. But we'd have to re arrange Fly On at the end of the album, because that song fits best at the end of the album. The songs in the deluxe edition are like the GS ones tho: good, but not great. All Your Friends is pretty good but it's not great. Ghost Story is a very good song since it has that raw sound into it we all love... but it certainly isn't the best track, The album could be greatly improved just by replacing ASFOS with Atlas IMO... Atlas fits much better in that place than ASFOS. As for the 42 minute rule, I completely agree. It's stupid and pointless really... AROBTTH would be much worse if it got cut from 55 min to 42 min... and if Amsterdam and AROBTTH had to be sacrificed that would make AROBTTH a lamer album. AROBTTH is NOT complete with Amsterdam... what a gorgeous song, with gorgeous lyrics, with a gorgeous buildup to the upbeat section... it's in the top 3 of AROBTTH, that's for sure. There is not one flaw I can find in it. If anything, they should revise that rule so that the albums have to be longer than 42 minutes as to not limit the potential of the album and it's creators... a proper story can't be told if the album's less than 42 minutes long really. It would feel incomplete.

Lol.. yeah I like the Avs too but it sucks that your goalie got pulled because the defense sucked. Habs defense isn't that great either but Price freaking robbed the Rangers last night, I mean, killing off a 5 on 3 penalty for 1:48 by yourself is absolutely crazy... I thought our lead was done. I wanted Price to get a shutout because I saw others getting some before him so I wanted Price of course to do the same... he was able to pull it off:) You usually only get to see a team not score on a 5 on 3 if your team's PP sucks (like the Hab's PP... that is pathetic like seriously, we had a 5 on 3 ourselves and the other team that night was taking care of it like nothing) but Price had to kill off the penalty pretty much on his own. I wish your goalie was amazing so you could sing his name to the tune of Paradise.. not sure how'd it work with a name like "Seymon Varlamov" tho lol :) It's even worse that you lost to the Bruins of all teams... :(

I first heard of Viva la Vida in some random video of a guy recording his infected PC back in 2009 or something... once I heard it I decided it was so beautiful and I needed to look up the song right then. Once I found out it was by Coldplay I like played it on repeat for an hour lol. Then I discovered some of their other songs (just looked them up) and I decided that I had definetely found the band for me.

Yess! Cemeteries of London is my vote. With that being said, the current tally is: Cemeteries of London 8 DAAHF 3 Strawberry Swing 2 Not using the table this time as I don't want to trick people into thinking that this is the end of the round when it's clearly too early on to be. :P I really do like Cemeteries of London but it isn't as strong compared to the others on this list.

I don't listen to GS a lot but I think that GS and X&Y sound similar a bit... GS is kind of low-tone ish and dark and so is X&Y a little bit (although it is brighter). X&Y's calm side really resembles GS... although one is mostly synthpop, the other is alternative. I personally really enjoy Fly On. I think that really is a very Oldplay-ish track with a bit of GS calm's twist on it... it's a very enjoyable track. I have quite an emotional connection to the song, but I think it is deeper as you said with songs like Fix You, Gravity, or What If. Fly On is kind of those type -kind of tracks (especially Gravity). Those kind of Oldplay-tracks are very similar to what Fly On has to offer IMO.... one thing though. Fly On is kind of short :( I listen to GS a bit but not a lot... usually I do it at night which is the perfect time to listen to it IMO... I listen to X&Y quite a bit as well, I very well enjoy the album. :) I can understand that you don't really listen to Fly On as much... some of the time I kind of listen to Coldplay songs and shuffle thme while other times i just go right ahead and listen to an album I think is appropriate to the situation I am in.:D BTW, speaking of albums that are good to listen to at night, I certainly think that Parachutes is one of those albums that are better to listen to during night than in the day. But truly that album is best listened to at dusk... :)
