Oh, good, one plus is that it's not an AHFOD delay problem. But still, that's a financial crisis and that's bad for them... and out of that Coldplay's tour is cancelled :(

I remember Princess of China was played every single day back in the day though... holy. I never really got sick of it though... I really like it.

I think that Amazing Day won't feel too out of place if it does end up feeling a little weird in the album... ASFOS in my opinion is a great track but it doesn't really have a place in GS. The GS feel and the lyrics are in there but GS is really too slow for songs like that. 1. has to be it... seriously. They'd at least have teased us now, unless it was a surprised release, am I right?

That's why maybe you should stop speculating times for "when we might hear something" so soon, so sooner than is possible. Here, I have a tip: how about you stop speculating early times and just relax and be patient. It'll come eventually. If you don't have expectations you won't be disappointed, other's won't be disappointed, you don't get stressed in the days leading to the "big day", and it's a very pleasent surprise when it does come. Just some thoughts and tips. Nothing to take as an insult here. :)

I know right! It's crazy how AROBTTH is layered in that sort of way, how diffferent speakers output the audio in different ways really makes you discover different lines.... how did they do that! :D That's one thing I love about that album, out of quite a lot:P

I agree in a way, that AROBTTH is one of the "classics" that are very highly respected (and deserves to be). And realistically, for that reason it may be better than MX. But you can't deny that MX has a very deep story to it too. I really love AROBTTH too, and I like the more rocky side of it with more "messy" so to speak production which I very much enjoy. But you can't deny that MX is still a very great album artistically, poetically (yes, it does have it's cheese and a bit of cliche's, but there are many ideas presented in this album and that through the artwork and lyrics you can find quite poetic. :)) MX actually does have a very deep and interesting story to tell, just like every Coldplay album. But MX stands out in my opinion, because it's about the only Coldplay album which actually tells the story of actual characters which I find is just amazing. They tell the story through the album artwork, through the lyrics, etc... and not many bands have pulled it off, really, even Coldplay only did it once. (Keep in mind that I'm talking about Coldplay telling the story of characters in an album with an actual deep and rich story to it. Of course I'd be dumb to say that Coldplay only told a story in an album only once ever:P) This isn't to demote the other albums, because they tell a very deep and rich story with tons and tons of hidden meanings and connections to other things we probably haven't even found yet... again, most bands today might tell a story in their album, if so, it's probably a very cheesy and vague one with probably not much hidden connections or anything at all. With all of the Coldplay albums, yes, even GS, they have hidden connections. Their artwork and the songs themselves tell these meanings... and the story is deep and rich. Almost no other band can do such a great job of telling a story through an album as Coldplay can today. That's why there's such high standards for Coldplay... they did what not many have done. In every single one of their albums, there's tons of meanings, again, probably even more than we've ever discovered yet. Each album has it's own atmosphere, it's own connections, it's own story. And that's why I love Coldplay... they try their best in every single album to make it feel a certain way, have a certain atmosphere, have it's own logo's that were unseen by the world before, have it's own meanings and connections, all presented by the artwork and the songs, etc. Many artists today just randomly make a collection of songs with no relation to one another at all (minus that they're completely dumb because of that fact), then they slap a random photo of themselves on there and call it a day... yeah. Coldplay is much better than that... their album cover most of the time really provides a general idea as to what to expect from the album. They even use colors in this case as well that in every case matches up to what the music has to offer... like Parachutes, orange, warm color. AROBTTH, black and white, if you listen to their music really it kind of has that feel to it. X&Y's dark shade, is very appropriate for the music inside. And on and on. The logo's on front are usually more subtle hints as to the idea of the album as well... and these are custom logos to be honest. There's no logo that Coldplay's used that isn't original. For that very reason that automatically makes GS even a better album than a lot of normal pop albums today... yes, it has meanings. Yes, it has connections. They are quite cheesy though and have cliches.. yeah. By the way, just want to say two things: Your comment about MX being overproduced and having Rihanna in it is dead wrong. There's like 2 songs that are overproduced on that album, and even less have Rihanna in it. (What's bad about Rihanna anyway? Yes, she does make pop, and at that more of resembling radio pop, but she's one of the better pop artists out there IMO... I guess it is bad in a way that Coldplay decided to team up with a pop artist which makes more-resembling radio pop (probably the reason why that's Coldplay's song that resembles stuff on the radio.)) But I totally agree on your opinion on Pitchfork. :lol: Sorry that got extremely long :lol:

Ooooooh good guessing there.... When I originally came up with this idea for a riddle about a week or so ago when I eventuallyy hoped I'd get my turn sometime (looks like it finally happened:D) I came up with Fix You because that was their intro song. Yesterday when I was about to win I realized that was probably way too ease and someone wourld probably guess it right away... :D So I changed my riddle's answer to another song yesterday which will force you to look much deeper....:p

If this album is MX improved I will be so happy. As happy as I am with MX it is overproduced and a little cheesy in areas... hopefully AHFOD will fix that if it decides to challenge MX. I think realistically this will end up second or third in my opinion, probably better than X&Y but it might in fact not be as good as MX realistically... but who knows! It could end up being better.. I hope so :D

Rainy Day isn't very good IMO... Glass of Water is a pretty good song so I agree with @I ran away on that one but IMO it isn't as good as the others on the list.

Haha I see now :) Yeah I think I'd pick Amazing Day to be the best out of the three now... AIMH is pretty good IMO and Up In Flames is also good, not great but pretty good. (Just personal opinion). And on Strawberry Swing I kind of get what you mean, there isn't really anything to it... but in my opinion it's a nice little tune to enjoy :) Again that's just what I think. And that's quite funny how your friend only likes that song besides Viva...

Oh sorry, he can't tell you anything. If he did the band's reputation would get lowered or wrecked or something.... (that's what he said right?) He did tell us some things however, he said to think of Paradise... I think that's what he said anyway if I recall. Which means it might be another one of my favorite songs. :D :D :D Then, someone else said that it had the same tempo as Violet Hill.... but then again we don't know how well to trust that claim. It's all rumours of what we think they heard at this point. @Saketblitz is really trustable though, so I'll believe his claim of how to think of Paradise... But most other rumours that have been said probably aren't true and are probably random things said...

Ohhhh so there's actually a delayyy...... ohhh. :( Not sure why Coldplay couldn't just release the audio if they're having problems with the video.. hopefully it comes soon. Honestly, unless the video is super-complex like The Scientist, you shouldn't have to wait a month plus for the MV to be released... just look at ASFOS. It got released literally 2 days after it was shot... unfortunately it just didn't want to happen this time :( It either must be super complex, or they're having editing problems, or stuff got mixed up, or data was lost, or whatever. You're right, it has to be a delay. Hopefully they don't have to start over 0allll over again. Now I'm sort of wishing no photos were released... yes. it let us know the band was up to stuff but honestly it's sickening having to wait this long... wish I never knew about it till now because I wouldn't even know about anything and I wouldn't have the stress of waiting for something I know is coming but is taking too long. Also, you not knowing the date of anything slightly confirms that my theory of a surprise release may not be true... originally I thought that they told you the release date but then told you to keep it secret because it was meant to be a surprise... looks like a surprise release may not be in the cards :( But that'd be cool and it might still happen.
