  1. Interesting and funny review, but I highly disagree with Fun, you can't deny the emotion put into that song and the beautiful sounds put into it. Sure the chord progression is one that's been absolutely beaten to death but if it sounds beautiful I don't care! This sounds MUCH better than most mainstream songs nowadays and is by no means "boring" or "trite". It's fairly unique when you look at what's popular nowadays. BTW, about Obama, what's wrong with him? You rather Donald Drumpf be president?!?!!
  2. This is epic. I love their new concerts as well but this just feels completely epic. I love their concerts from all eras! :)
  3. This song is awesome. And criminally underrated for some reason... didn't know this till I started up the Massive Coldplay song elimination round 3
  4. I agree with your statement on What If too! One of my favs from X&Y era. :) The image in my mind when I listen to this one is kind of hard to explain... it's not really even a place, just something that almost kinda resembles you being below water with the sun shining through above, to a point where you can't actually see the dot of light but rather just the light itself is lighter above. I guess that's it. As for the song itself it's alright, nothing mind blowing. It starts out really good. But then it kind of just... drags on. As beautiful and unique as it is. Not Coldplay's strongest effort. Cemeteries of London
  5. Yayyyyy this game is getting votes again! :)
  6. + Til Kingdom Come - 6 Up In Flames - 8 Pour Me (Live) - 3 - Chinese Sleep Chant - 13 Daylight - 5 The Fall Of Man (Demo) - 3 Person above me, you may notice Daylight is at 5, but you put it at 7. This is why: On my first vote since this thread died a while back, Daylight was at 6 so I put it at 5. Someone plused Daylight putting it back at 6. I allowed the other person who didn't pick a valid track to take away from (XMTS is already eliminated) to change their vote, they changed it to Daylight so then it became 5. You're plus vote actually put it at 6 so my vote would be 5 then. Thanks for understanding. :)
  7. Strawberry swing. How do I get where I want to be?

    Icing!
  9. It actually sounds pretty nice too! Probably going to end up all glossy and overproduced seeing how The Chainsmokers are when things are said and done, sadly enough. :( EDIT: Oh, glad you're feeling better! :) See, these collabs sound great, but it sucks that CM has to do them with big name pop acts. We probably got much better results with Faultline, Ron Sexsmith, Michael Stipe etc. Those were really good collabs. Cat Power too, to mention a newer one. That being said the collab with Tove Lo yielded pretty nice results. She's actually decent though. Sometimes!
  10. I imagine being somewhere on a rainy night. The month before I became a Coldplay fan this is one of the songs I heard on the radio and I genuinely thought that I would like the band since a few other songs I liked, turns out I did. One problem with the song though, it's good no doubt about that but it's one of those songs that.. you kind of yawn to. You appreciate it then next thing you know you're 3 songs ahead. It's hard to truly pay attention to and appreciate the emotion in it. Attempting to do so I find only makes me yawn even more since it's not that kind of song. More of a "casual listening" song I guess. What if Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Coldplaying mobile app

  18. Well the music sure doesn't reflect that... the music in MX blows up much more and is much happier but I could see that.
  19. Considering it's the Chainsmokers I wouldn't be surprised.
  20. Antarctica is very cold. Some Coldplay songs feel very cold. Not to mention, it's in the name. COLDplay. :D Oven
