The Hardest Part’ will be the next RADIO ONLY single release from X&Y.
What sucks the big cheese about it being radio only is that we know there are studio versions of Ladder to the Sun and Water Flows/Solid Ground/Whateverthehellitscallednow which we may never hear now. I was surprised by the b-sides for Talk, as well. Those were newly recorded. Surely they must have enough songs leftover from the year+ long X&Y sessions to have enough b-sides for 13 singles.

Intro Music
So. I know this is an extremely old question, but I've been thinking about it lately and it's been bugging the hell out of me. Anyway.... I know that the music the band uses to take the stage during the X&Y tour (or at least that they used at Coachella which is the only show I have actually heard) is Brian Eno's "An Ending (Ascent)." Does anyone know what the music is that they used on the Rush of Blood tour? I think it's also a Brian Eno track, but I'm not sure which.

How you see the world 1 or 2?
My favorite is the original. The lyrics of the new version are (in my opinion, anyway) crap. They came off, to me, like Chris was trying too hard to be political and just ended up rewriting Twisted Logic. And the new version sounds rather over-produced, as well.

What would you like the new setlist to be?
I would like the new setlist to be different every night. How boring must it be to play the same set night after night?

Ode To Deodorant
It's crap. Total crap. :D

Coldplay Disappointed At Three Albums
I think they should record an album whenever the fuck they want. :D

TALK NEW SINGLE OUT DEC 19TH WITH 2 BRAND NEW TRACKS!!
Don't quote me on this, but, I believe that the Australian release of the single has both Sleeping Sun and Gravity on it, and is a CD. As for songs like 'Deserter,' 'This Hollow Frame,' 'Eyes for Eyes,' and 'The Alchemist,' I doubt that we will ever hear them as they were only demo songs.

RemeMber how you felt before X&Y came out?
I think I was more excited about Rush of Blood coming out than I was about X&Y. Don't know why, exactly.

What if Nigel Godrich produced Coldplay?
- Most underappreciated album tracks
Well for me there's only one song: A Whisper. Amazing, amazing song! :)- What if Nigel Godrich produced Coldplay?
I must be the only one who seems to like X&Y more the more I listen to it. Anyway, I think bringing Ken Nelson back would be both good and bad. The good would be we know we would get a great album. But the bad part is that with him you would also get the same old Coldplay album; you would get Rush of Blood part 2. That seemed to be (at least from what I gathered) part of the reason they went with Danton for X&Y. I think bringing in a new producer with new ideas would be better than going back to the safe and reliable. Nigel Godrich sounds like a very good idea to me. Whatever they do, I don't think they should self-produce. They might not be able to survive it.- TALK NEW SINGLE OUT DEC 19TH WITH 2 BRAND NEW TRACKS!!
Re: TALK B-Sides That's an old Rush of Blood track.- X&Y The Complete Studio Sessions
I just made up a CD throwing all the b-sides (minus Pour Me) on at the end and the disc is 79:30 long.- Fix You B-sides
I'll settle for a quality live version of Poor Me. I'm just hoping that Ladder To The Sun and Solid Ground (or whatever it's called) make it as b-sides.- Other material left off X&Y ?
I honestly think that the Zero Theory thing was a 100% crap rumor. It happens with most bands. Some person will claim to have heard the album or know the tracklist. I'm just surprised there was only one rumored tracklist.- How much of Live8 did you watch?
I only watched the bands that I wanted to see (U2, Coldplay, Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd). Other than that, I really had no interest in seeing any of the other bands, nor in listening to the dumbass MTV and VH1 people talk. I mean, they started talking over the end of "Comfortably Numb" for heaven's sake!- If you could make a tour song list for the band...
I was wondering about this today. I don't really understand why Coldplay couldn't do a different set each night, make it more fun for the fans in not knowing what you'll hear each night. In wondering about this, I came up with a tour song list that they could choose from: Don't Panic Shiver Spies Yellow Trouble Everything's Not Lost Life Is For Living Politik In My Place God Put A Smile Upon Your Face The Scientist Clocks Daylight Warning Sign A Rush Of Blood To The Head Amsterdam Square One What If White Shadows Fix You Talk X&Y Speed Of Sound A Message Low The Hardest Part Swallowed In The Sea Twisted Logic Til Kingdom Come Things I Don't Understand How You See The World Crest Of Waves I Ran Away Moses One I Love See You Soon Animals Ladder To The Sun World Turned Upside Down Idiot Proof That's 41 songs that they could choose from each night. What would all of you put on there as a list?- The new setlist...
I really don't see why they don't change the setlist each night. Go out on tour with a list of 40 songs to choose from each night, and not just keep playing the same show over and over and over again. And "A Whisper" is (in my opinion anyway) the best song off Rush Of Blood. :D- Any "store-exclusive" bonus tracks in U.S.?
I thought it was kind of odd that the "exclusive" download was of a b-side that's already been available for a few years (in my case "Crest Of Waves"). And, it also looks like you have to create an account on Napster if you even want to get it. :P- coldplay:4th album?
So, how many times does someone have to say that Chris has said all of this before before it will sink in? He said the same thing (pretty much) before Rush Of Blood came out. Just relax, enjoy the new album, and be paitent, cause it will e another 2+ years before the next album comes out.- "Talk" - which version?
I haven't heard the new version yet (since I didn't download the album), but from reading the lyrics, I think I like the old lyrics a bit better. But, we'll see once I heard the song.- US + Canadian tour dates announced!!
Man...there is just no way that I can go - Studio Proof
 Yeah, which is followed by "He just told me to shut up"- Your World Turned Upside Down --> Low
I noticed this myself, although I don't think they sound a lot like each other, but there seemed to be something similar. But, I asked Debs about it and she said they're two seperate songs.- Studio Proof
I like the way they did it in the studio, just guitars and piano. And I'm glad to have a quality version of it now. The one live version I had was crap. - Most underappreciated album tracks
