  1. We seriously need to start making the whole internet out of fiber optics. Everything would load so much faster and we wouldn't have to upgrade for decades because processors/compression techniques could improve to keep up with the increased need for bandwidth. And imagine all the oil we'd save if more people telecommuted to work using the internet - Hi-definition videoconferencing would be simple with fiber optics.
  2. Ladies, it's not a "slash" fanfic. Sorry... :D They decided to make a short film about a murder and Chris is the detective.

Coldplay fans! Unite! Gather your pitchforks and torches! ** **Please be mindful of the sharp edges and fire hazards. If you prefer, carry a handful of Q-tips, instead. Taco Bell hot sauce may be substituted for fire.

LMAO That's going to require surgery. Sorry.

In all seriousness I think SOME porn is okay as long as it's not consuming, and it's not some of that creepy stuff that bubbles up from the depths of the Hell that is Internet. But you can always tell when someone's a porn addict - they have that dead look in their eyes. *shudder*

Remember guys, you heard it here on Coldplaying.com first: Females have no interest in porn! They also poop rainbows.
  7. There was, he wrote "Yellow" and "Clocks"... but he drowned in a freak surfing accident and Chris took the credit for those hits.
  8. Yeah, it is weird. If there was a way to "fix" it, I would. But people definitely don't choose to be gay.
  9. I'm bi. I think there might be another one on here but I'm not sure.
  10. Said the Perv queen. LOL ;) And why would anyone consider "heavy metal" straight music? Exhibit A:
  11. Track 6 - "Ja" LMAO

LOL a 15 year old girl who likes Hugh Laurie. Technically it's even a stretch for you to like Guy Berryman cause he's 30 or something. Set Perv Thrusters to Warp 9.
  13. Because men are better at writing music. Now get back in the kitchen. Oh, and my shirts need ironing. :D
  14. Ah yes, good point. I used to like Churchill, and Bush, and Reagan, and some other politicians. But I can no longer consider someone an idol when they've got the weight of legitimate use of force behind their flowery language... Musicians (who most people cited in this thread) are more admirable to me because they've got greater autonomy as sort of "counterculture" figures, but it annoys me when they take on causes - like Chris Martin with the MTF thing, which is basically advertising his misunderstanding of basic economic principles. Or Radiohead which try to act holier-than-thou every chance they get... lol I'm a very critical person. EDIT: I'll add John Locke, Ayn Rand, and Adam Smith to my list.
  15. I can't judge until I hear it in full quality. Overall I would guess it's one of the best yet... nothing on this album has been a disappointment to me except for Violet Hill.
  16. I'm happy with what we've gotten so far. Let's just wait a few more weeks for the whole thing, in perfect, crisp CD quality sound!
  17. I think it's healthy to have idols insofar as you can pick and choose which of their attributes you'd like to follow. For instance, I'm sure Mrcool11 likes Churchill for his resolve and leadership, and not for the fact that he was often a very depressed individual. Nobody's perfect, and certainly not you - so looking to yourself as an idol only makes sense once you've reached the pinnacle of a certain attribute. That's why people like Angelina Jolie (who probably don't aspire to look much better - but we can debate that) often turn their attention to other parts of their lives that are lacking, in her case being a good mother/wife.
  18. I used to watch the OC with my roommate to make fun of it (Mystery Science Theater 3000 style). I cringed when Fix You came on.
  19. Holy FARK, Grey's Anatomy is annoying. Why do all the popular girly TV shows nowadays have to have constant narration?! :shout: The song sounds like it could be really nice though.
  20. That's funny cause in the world of videogames, it seems like everything that comes out nowadays is a perfect 10/10.
  21. An organic fast-food restaurant. Sure, the food would be more expensive, but as an alternative to burger joints it would be awesome to have that choice. Also, if it were a drive-through fat people wouldn't have excuses anymore to stay fat.

Whoa whoa whoa, somebody's not doing their job! I outta give em a piece of my mind.

    I didn't get it... :P
  24. Hey dude yah, I'll prolly be going to that concert. Hit me up on AIM, I'll PM you my sn.
  25. Bingo on the lesson bit. Ladies: when a guy flirts with you, it doesn't make you a slut to flirt back. This isn't the Victorian Era where they procreated by osmosis.
