I logged into the forum before work and saw the "it will leak today" thread I thought 'yeah right, people should just stop wishing, this thing is not leaking' Checked the forums during lunch and saw that it leaked, started downloading immediately. I was so excited. For the first time in months, i did not bring my headphones to work. I had the files on my computer and couldnt listen to them for 4 more hours. Finally got home and it was incredible.

I love the beats in Lost!. Although Lost? was pretty cool acoustic. It must have been a really tough choice for coldplay regarding which one of the two to include.

i call it experimental pop. since there are sounds in this album that haven't been seen much in mainstream music before.

the melodies are there, they are just more complex and harder to notice this time around. and i do not miss parachutes/arobtth. if i want to listen to that coldplay i will play those albums. its good for a band to find new sounds.

i dont think coldplay really have to worry about sales. they are already incredibly rich, and VLV has been on top of the amazon album sales for about a week now (three weeks before its release). i ordered mine a while ago anyways.

hmmm... its fluctuating between VLV and Rush on which one is first. we'll see after a few weeks. I think the VLV songs arent as immediate. and also it takes so much work for a band to come upwith such a different sound, and that just makes VLV a more incredible album. but then again, AROBTTH was the first album i became obsessed with .

So, as we all know, pitchforkmedia.com hates and despises coldplay. they reviews are very unfair, going as far as saying that in AROBTTH, and album containing such incredible songs as Clocks, Amsterdam, Politik..., "the guys forgot to tote along their initial strength: the songs. " So, what will they give this album? For some reason i have a feeling that someone there will love it and give it a high rating. I say 7.8

i tried that, step 1 lasted about 2 minutes. the second one actually lasted a while, about 3 hours. but that is because i couldnt find my headphones. worst 3 hrs ever!!!!
