Yesterday we celebrated my friends' birthday at a rooftop bar/club and they played Viva La Vida and A Sky Full of Stars. The best part though was that when ASFOS played, they threw a lot of confetti up in the air and it was so magical because I was looking at the stars, the confetti and listening to Coldplay. I was freaking out haha because they only did this with this song and it reminded me of videos I've seen from Coldplay's concerts!:heart_eyes::heart_eyes:

Thank you :) I think I just found a way after looking for a long time. There is a bus stop about 15-20 minutes away and the last bus there arrives at 12am. I will try to take a friend with me as well. Oh and by the way tickets here cost 10 EUR. I am so happy that I am seeing booked seats already, maybe Coldplay will realise that they need to have a concert here soon!

Tickets are finally available for me... But the downside is that the film starts at 8.30pm. The last bus that leaves from the cinema is at 9.40 pm and there is another bus stop that I could walk to but the bus leaves at 10.30pm and that's when the movie will end. The taxi will cost too much because it's far away (more than an hour):weary_face:. I am thinking about walking to other bus stops and I will have to sleep at a friends' house because of the lack of buses that can take me to my house at night... I am still trying to figure out where I will go exactly because I don't know that area at all. Lol wish me luck

I am so freaking excited!!! The film is going to be played in cinemas in the two biggest cities of Greece. And I live in one of them :) I will need to take 3 buses and it's an hour and a half away but it's totally worth it! :D Hope I will not get lost because I've never been there haha. But I can't believe that I will actually go and I will see other Coldplayers there as well!! <3

I joined Coldplaying exactly 2 years ago and I can't believe it's been that long! It was also the time when I started to really get into Coldplay and to listen to every single song of theirs; I have been a Coldplayer for 2 years :blush: I know I don't post a lot and I've been busy this last year but I come here at least 2 times a week and check what you post. Thank you for having me in this great community, a place where I can share my love for Coldplay, it's great seeing people who feel the same way I do and I really enjoy reading your posts. Thank you for keeping me up to date with Coldplay news and just being great in general (after all, Chris did say we are the best fans in the world and all-around brilliant, and he was obviously right). :heart: I'd also like to thank Coldplay for being a big part of my life, making me a more positive person and helping me through hard times. :blush: I still get so excited every time I hear a Coldplay song on the radio or when I am out shopping, at college (it happened recently) or out with friends. It's great that I now have friends who also like listening to Coldplay and I can share my love for them with my friends too. :grinning: Coldplay are amazing and I hope that after this hiatus they will come back better than ever and that they will finally come to my country and that I will see them live:heart:

Sorry, I thought I had replied. Like I said she is really bad with names, so she couldn't remember Chris' name, but when she thinks of Coldplay she mostly thinks of Chris (like most people who aren't Coldplayers)... The last few days I got her addicted to them though :joy:. I was at her house and we were listening to Coldplay from my phone all day ( I also kept giving her fun facts about each song :p ) and then she had a long trip and said she kept listening to Coldplay for the whole trip and she also started watching some interviews!

So I was talking with some of my new friends about music, and one of them said that she really likes an alternative rock and pop band that has collaborated with Rihanna and Beyonce, and that the lead singer is a blonde guy with blue eyes. She obviously meant Coldplay (she is really bad with names) but I was so stuck, no band in my mind matched the description and when she finally remembered that the band was named Coldplay, I was shocked lol. I really don't know how I didn't think of Coldplay! Anyway, I am so happy because 2 of my new friends really like Coldplay, they are not hardcore fans like me :p, but like many of their old and new songs and their meanings and love the band as people :)

3 χρόνια πριν να γινόταν και θα το προλάβαινα :p Χαχαχα είναι περίεργο αλλά σαν Coldplayer κάθε φορά που θα το έβλεπα θα μου φαινόταν το βιβλίο πιο ευχάριστο μιας και δεν βλέπεις συχνά αναφορές στους Coldplay πόσο μάλλον μέσα σε σχολικό βιβλίο! Αν και δεν μου φαίνεται να κολλάνε τραγούδια μέσα στα Θρησκευτικά τόσο (ίσως γιατί εγώ δεν τα είχα) αλλά δεν πειράζει, έχει τουλάχιστον ένα ωραίο μήνυμα σαν τραγούδι!:grinning:

I was listening to the radio ( the same radio station that plays GPASUYF and all these other Coldplay songs that I have talked to you about in the past) and I recognised Chris' voice but it was not a Coldplay song. And I was like "What is this? I am 100% this is Chris' voice. " And it turned out it was the song "In the sun" by Michael Stipe ft. Chris (I knew they had sang together in the past but not that they had a song). It also sounded like a live version because I could hear the crowd! This radio station is amazing haha I thought I had listened to all the songs that Chris was featured in but I was wrong. It was a nice surprise :)

I am sad that this era is over since it was my first era when I was officially a fan and followed the band from beginning to end but your message made it all seem so exciting!:D I can't wait to experience this and see what Coldplay comes up with for LP8. :party::grinning:

In the last week there were 2 radio stations in my country that made me smile. The first one had many artists say their name( to advertise the radio station) and then there it was, I heard Chris' voice say " Hey, this is Coldplay" (so weird not hearing him say he is Chris from Coldplay instead). Also there is a radio station in my country that has played Clocks, FIx you and Talk( and the radio host said his favourite album was X&Y). It's the same radio station that had played Life in Technicolor ii in the past. But today they played( I am actually listening to it while typing) GPASUYF! :grinning::grinning: It's weird because I thought I would never hear that one on the radio. It's definitely my favourite radio station after that.Maybe they did it as a tribute to Jonny and his awesome guitar skills haha. Happy birthday to the sweetest guitarist with great guitar riffs, Jonny Buckland :heart:

I think I have read somewhere in an interview that it's called Amsterdam because Chris wrote this song while in Amsterdam and that this is the only reason and the song is not connected with the city in any other way. Oracle has also confirmed this.

Chris sang in spanish and in german? :joy: Can any spanish speakers or german speakers tell us if he did okay and if you could understand what he was singing? :)

I was on my phone a few minutes ago and got the notification that Coldplay uploaded it. I've been fangirling ever since :joy: I wanna know what other Coldplayers think about it!

Wow, so does that mean that we, Coldplayers, are not "boring and ugly" anymore? :D

I also noticed that Coldplay, Liam Gallagher and Justin Bieber were missing from the line up... I don't know why. Especially the first two since they were up there 1 minute ago.
