thats good to hear. barcelona's a nice place indeed. i dont even think its that much of a problem if you dont speak spanish very well because there's so many english people there. at least thats what i noticed when i spent my holidays there. i've been to manchester a few times now and i actually like it. its great for shopping. going out there with scousers just doesnt seem to be a good idea! 2006 was a brilliant year for me, probably the best so far. i finished school in summer and went to liverpool to work there. i had a brilliant time there and got to know the most wonderful people. i'm back home now and i miss everyone a lot. i'm pretty undecided what i'm gonna do next year. i'm currently in a gap year and i'd love to return to liverpool the sooner the better. i'm likely to go either to college or to university next year. i dont know where i'm gonna study though.

it took me way too long. i started pretty early and i still had to get my last present today!

sounds like a difficult situation, especially because you live in the same place so you're likely to see each other pretty often. do you have the same group of friends? in that case it would be even more difficult i guess... well sounds like her boyfriend kinda knows that you're very close friends even if she didnt tell him. losing friends is painful indeed. i met my boyfriend some of my most amazing friends when i lived in england. it was so damn hard when i had to return to my country and it still is. i do keep in touch with them but some of my friends there dont have internet at home, which doesnt make it easier.

my friends were lazy when it comes to studying... well most of them. it didnt even work when the exam was the day after we studied.

i couldnt really study with friends. you usually end up talking about anything but studies. you feel like you've studied all day but you havent done anything at all. i personally prefer studying on my own. its a lot better to see your friends afterwards when you finished studying!

yes, i have. that was ages ago, when my mum had her ski accident.:embarassed: i really loved the place though. thats why we're going there.

its lovely indeed. its damn far though. it normaly takes like six hours. but its worth it. especially because i think it might not snow at ne year's eve. and we really wanna see some snow. :nice:

have a nice holiday! i'm definitely going to the swiss mountains on new year's eve. it doesnt look like i'll be able to go skiing as i'm going with someone who cant ski but i'm soo looking forward to that!

dunno, as i said its a thing i really hate to do. plus i'm pretty likely to get sacked if he remebers that i asked for holidays at exactly the same date. i think i'll quit the job.

i asked for holidays today and my boss didnt want to give me some time off. :angry: i cant change the date because that's when my boyfriend's coming to switzerland.
