  1. hello! Still 0-0. I think there's gonna be a penalty shootout.

I have a Basle accent in German but since I've lived here for a long time I can also change the accent... I sometimes do, depends to with whom I'm talking, but I don't really notice that. In English? You'd probably realise that my native language is German but I'm not sure. My French and Spanish sound very German, can't change that. I can't roll the R in Spanish so you notice very fast that I'm a foreigner.
  3. I know. Another disadvantage for Portugal is that almost every player was booked. (I think like five players apart from the ones who actually miss the match) Deco is such a big loss for Portugal and Ronaldo might miss the match as well. So yeah, England are favourites.
  4. England are favourites. I can't wait till Saturday, I really hope England will beat Portugal this time! Ronaldo aims to end England hopes Portugal winger Cristiano Ronaldo will be out to end England's dream of winning the World Cup when the two countries meet in the quarter-finals. The Manchester United star hopes to overcome the thigh injury he sustained against Holland to play on Saturday. "It is a special match because I play in England," he said. "I've been there for three years and I hope we can win." "I've got a blue mark after the hit on my thigh. Let's see how it develops. The doctors will see on Monday." Ronaldo had to be substituted during the first half of Portugal's 1-0 win over Holland in the last 16 after a crude challenge from Khalid Boulahrouz. Portugal midfielders Deco and Costinha were sent off in the game and will now miss the England tie. Sven-Goran Eriksson's side will be out to avenge their loss on penalties to Portugal at the same stage at Euro 2004. But Portugal keeper Ricardo, who scored the winning penalty in the Euro 2004 shootout, was not impressed with England's display against Ecuador on Sunday. He said: "We're going to meet England again in the quarter-finals and this time, I don't want to decide it on penalties. "I don't even think that England deserved to win the game against Ecuador." Portugal right-back Miguel believes it will be a conflict of styles. "It is going to be a different type of game against England," he said after the win over the Dutch. "They play more direct football. We like to pass the ball more. We will try to impose our game. "The only match I remember as tense as the one against Holland was against England at Euro 2004 when we went on to win on penalties." The two teams also met at the semi-final stage of the 1966 World Cup when England claimed a 2-1 victory over Eusebio and his team-mates, and famously went on to win the trophy. But Portugal boss Luiz Felipe Scolari is determined to avoid a repeat as he looked ahead to steering the side to their best ever World Cup showing. "Now I have to put a team together to face England, but with a few problems," he said. "But that's part of my job. I've got 23 players, two cannot play, but Cristiano has got five or six days and he will probably recover." Scolari added: "We want our exploits to go beyond what the country did in 1966."
  5. Argentina podria ganar la partida sin el tiempo extra... el gol tendria contar no fue offside. sorry my Spanish sucks, but you'd better speak English :P
  6. me too, of course. I've nothing against Portgal but England are my favourite team in the World Cup apart from Switzerland, so...
  7. I'll support Portugal tomorrow too, but I wanna see England beat them in the quarter final this time.:P
  8. I know. Anyway I'll go one day. But Liverpool comes first... just two weeks till I leave. But I'm still waiting for the results of my exams.
  9. Yeah I guess I will. I think it's a great town but I didn't want to see the town when we were there. Nor did my brother. we were so young and just interested in Disneyland. Now I'd love to go there.

  15. I don't like text messages at all, I tend to forget them and it can take hours till I reply and some people get really angry because of this.
  16. Haha meeting in a place where many other people are would be recommendable I suppose.
  17. Yeah of course it is. I can't imagine finding a boyfriend in the internet. I don't go to dating homepages and such, but it's not differnt to advertisments in newspapers. I wouldn't write to any of them either, but it's just a more modern way of that of that I suppose.
  18. Most the time I'm not. When I look in the mirror I normally only see the things I dislike about my body. I do have a problem with weight but as I'm really looking not to gain weight I'm not overweight. But still I feel fat.
  19. They're both equally weird, I can't really see the difference between them.
  20. nope, not necessarily, but if you pick Italy I agree :P I'm not that serious, but we'll just see...
