Wanna know something soooo silly? The local newspaper has started a petition saying it's not fair for BEP to "phunk" (yes, that word was in the newspaper) with our hearts and not play a whole concert! Man, I felt like calling and saying "what about Coldplay!! bring the boys back for a full concert.. at least there'd be some talent involved.."

Thanks Ian for moving my thread.. :) This city is going to be nuts!!! for that weekend, I can't wait... Yea, boo for no Arcade Fire.. they probably won't even be in town for the awards, which is sad. yay for Coldplay! yay for Junos!

yea, I heard that... althouhg, if today's temperatures are any indication, it might not be too bad a few weeks from now (I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S ONLY A FEW WEEKS AWAY!!!! SOOOOO EXCITED) In other Juno news... I saw on the telly that Black Eyed Peas has been confirmed as well as Headly... So, not too exciting, but... still should be a couple more Canadian acts announced... hopefully... *crosses fingers for Arcade Fire*

oh man, I just saw his hair from the most recent concert... IT'S OUTTA CONTROL!!!! I can't handle it. Either he cuts it, or I *must* run my fingers through it... Chris, what'll it be? :lol: ;) (actually, either way, I want to run my fingers through whatever hair he has :kiss: )

after sooo many people tried to console me about the band breakup the other day... that night I had a dream that Chris and I sat down off to the side of the stage at some concert while the other boys were still playing around with the audience and instruments... Chris and I had a nice little chat, he gave me some wrist band he was wearing, I told him about catching his camera from the VA Beach show :) ... then when I left, I found Gwen wandering around the parking lot... she couldn't find her car and was in labour.. so I took her to the hospital... It was a very nice dream... but wierd with the Gwen part :rolleyes:

man, tickets sold out again in a matter of minutes (for regular seating) and a friend of mine has a sister that paid... oy... $100 for nosebleed seats!!! I paid $95 more for standing on the floor, and tickets to all the concerts in the city on the weekend and tickets to the hockey game... :D

I would have liked to have been to one of the Parachutes concerts... more intimate, before they were selling out stadiums... the band still as "babes in the woods"... I think it would have been nice to see them like that This however, should not be taken as I didn't like the two times I saw the X&Y tour last year... those were *amazing*... and I wouldn't trade them for anything... :)

and the Black Eyed Peas? oy.. who ordered them? :P :lol:

thanks guys.. I love the pics too.. I loooved being so close to the band. coldpatrix - I don't have the setlist... and I can't really remember.. But, I think there's another setlist floating around somewhere from the concert... It was pretty much the same as the rest of the American tour.. except Amsterdam was played and The Hardest Part was cut... sorry I cant' help you more than that...

Yea, I haven't heard anything about Square One (although, it will be good to hear a new song live.. even though I love Talk)... But, that'd be good... Did they officially announce they were going to do that at the Brits?

So, Coldplay is playing at the Canadian equivalent of the Grammys... and I bought pit tickets this last weekend. Actually, I have a few extra... and I'd like to offer them to local fans to buy before I try and get rid of them somewhere else. So, you can use this thread, or PM me to find out more about the tickets. As well, this thread can be used to say more (as more is found out) about the performance of the boys in Halifax. I'll let you know anything I find out and any other local fans can dish the news here if they find anything out (i.e. local concerts, radio contests, etc). Any speculation on what they'll be playing? Do you think they'll have a new single by then? (April 2nd)... either way... Coldplay will be in our great city soon! :D :D :D
