nice! i'll have to hunt down that parking lot on wednesday. with the opera house i still parked pretty close, but not in a secure spot. eep. i ended up getting lost trying to find the damn place and went into a starbucks for help and they mentioned that stripclub too. it's quite the landmark!

if this is true. If this is true I think it is completely ridiculous and not needed. i don't think it's that crazy of them to ask that we don't bring cellphones and such and that if you do it might be taken away. they don't want people taking pictures or recording the new material -- if you weren't planning on doing that then not bringing your cellphone shouldn't be an issue.

yeah, another concert at the amp would be ideal. i think that's just such a great venue. i didn't have very good seats last time coldplay played their in 2003, but hearing them perform yellow and then being able to look up and see a perfect night time sky, gah. brilliant. i'd love it if coldplay came back in september. then i'd get to see jack johnson and coldplay in one month. yay.

see i was just at the opera house and had a hard time parking. i just ended up parking along a sidestreet. i dunno how the rules work in toronto with that so i wasn't sure if i could even do that. i think kool haus has it's own parking...or wait i'm thinking of the docks. so yeah, parking on wednesday will be another advenute most likely.

i will say this though that the oc DID ruin 'california' by phantom planet. i can't take that song seriously anymore. i forgot how i use to feel when i listened to it before the oc was ever created. but that was bound to happen when it's the opening title. other then that though, i don't think any band or artist is any less respectable because the show sampled their song or invited them to mock perform live.

the oc and coldplay are a beautiful mix. i don't like how everytime a band is sampled or plays live on the oc their fans FREAK OUT. like the masses are going to flawk to this band and ruin everything good about it after hearing 20 seconds of it during a party scene. there is no harm in showcasing good music.

i saw that auction too! definitely tried for those but by the time i got into the page someone had purchased them already. :P the seller was even from canada so even shipping would have been cheap! the funny thing is like maybe 30 minutes later i saw the same seller put up another pair of tickets at a buyitnow price of 550 i think? i wonder if she cancelled the transaction when they saw how much more they could have made. or they had more tickets! i dunno. heh. gosh, i stalked ebay for like three hours that morning.

i'm going to bring a disposible camera, but i have a feeling it'll be snatched after the first flicker of the flash. they are really cracking down for these gigs. i was planning on brining my cellphone and then recording bits and pieces of the concert on my answering machine, but after reading about how they confiscated phones at the most recent buzz gig, it's not worth it. less then a month until the album drops. wow. anyway, i'm planning on being in line waiting around 2pm the very earliest. i'm not sure if my friend and i are going to go for a quick shop around the eaton's centre or not while we're in toronto though so i'm not sure yet. it's such a small venue that basically every spot's a good spot...and i haven't been to h&m in forever!!

i didn't even pay that much for my scalper-bought tickets. heh.

'honest mistake' is on the old navy store soundtrack this month. whenever it comes on someone usually asks me who sings it. it's the most addictive song. love it.

it's been awhile since i posted in this thread. probably because i have nothing new to say about interpol other then they rock and own your mother. word. i like paul's not-so-new-anymore haircut. bangs. work it. i'm getting sick of interpol fans complaining that interpol have become 'too famous' so now they are all jumping ship so not to look like they are into a successful band. who wants to support that?

wasn't it that the killers hate the bravery? i don't think the bravery care much about the feud, but hey it's getting them more press. fearless is pretty damn good. i think tyrant is when they reach their peak on the album personally.

i am actually becoming obsessed with the bravery. their album is incredible. i think sam's voice is absolutely intoxicating. i had to miss their show in toronto a few weeks back which still upsets me greatly...but i know they will be back.

I've reported 50+ listings. If we all did this, you AND I would have a much better chance of paying closer to the Free (promo tix) to $30CDN+fees face value, rather than a 1000% markup to greedy scalpers. hmm i really didn't know you could report anyone for marking up tickets on ebay. to be honest, yes it is unfair to do that to deserving fans, but what do you expect? if you keep reporting them they'll just keep posting them or find another way to sell them at a high price. but it's better to do something then nothing so kudos to you, seriously. i would have prefered not to pay such a high fee. so thanks for your efforts!

welcome simon! i'm not what happened to 'poor me' not making it onto X&Y, i didn't know it had the potential to! but i've got to say it is a great song that i really enjoy and would love to hear a solid studio mix of as i only have a live version.

i think she's kinda rad and i buy her as a music artist for some reason.
