i haven't listened to anything other then 'rebellion' so i don't know much about arcade fire, but it seems like their the vogue band for other bands to give a shout out too.

jack johnson!! i'm seeing him at the amp in september. i love his latest album. i'm so mad, they had snow patrol posters outside of the kool haus and i forgot to snatch one. idiot!

haha omg do you think that was me? no, no. that wasn't me. i was to the left of them. i was wearing a napoleon dynamite tee and had dark curly hair and pretty pale. i was right beside the girl who blacked out before the concert started.

i admt it, hearing 'fix you' made me tear a bit. mostly because it reminded me of yesterday's concert. i thought it was really well used in the show. bravo.

i've heard good things about the new album! i really enjoy the simple fun of 'goodnight goodnight' so i might just pick it up.

Re: wow. just...wow it WAS cold outside. i only waited since a quarter to six. i don't know how you could stand waiting around all day. i'm sure meeting some of the band helped! ha. i think clocks was one of the best songs of the night. the bit at the end where they sped it up. BRILLIANT. i just loved that. i'm looking forward to hearing that one again during the broadcast on muchmusic. i bet i was right by you at some points in the night. i was four people away from the front. a lot of msgboard kids were there. i met sarah*** briefly. she's a real foxxx in person. warning sign, my friend and i freaked when they started strumming that. that's my favourite song by them.

my friend was trying to buy one ticket and the lowest she was offered was 800 dollars.

i just bought 'silent alarm' yesterday. i'm a little late to the bloc party fanbase, but i think their pretty rad.

i just bought their album yesterday while i was in toronto. i haven't given it a run through yet, but if it's all as beautifully haunting as 'into the fire' i'm sure it'll be an instant favourite of mine.

well, just as i expected merch wasn't too great. i wish they had more selection for female sized tee's other then just the X&Y cover art. i bought a button and one of the men's shirt and when i got home i just chopped it up into a cute off the shoulder number. ;)

oh yeah and i like how their lil' ambience intro music cd skipped. i wonder if they'll show that in the much music special!

eeep well you have to realize the risk you run when you try to record a show. you sound like you were being sneaky though, i wonder if you were ratted out or something by another fan because how could some bodyguard ever notice that? and i've just got to say: people heard 600 dollars for a pair from a scalper the day of the concert? my friend was trying to buy just ONE ticket and she didn't get anything below 800 dollars. the scalpers in toronto are crazy and rude. they asked me if my breasts were real and then said 'i'd pay 500 dollars to suck on one of those' SICK!

i was like 'i'm gonna get in line sooooooooo early' i'm so glad i didn't bother. i would have caught a cold and died of boredom. i only had to wait 2 hours outside and i was right up close. though i would have loved to meet some of the band like some of the lucky folks did...but they came out around one and that's when i left london!
