'the new' -- that would be awesome cause they never seem to play that. i should check out that song stats chart! i'm hoping to hear 'public pervert' and 'untitled'. i wish they'd play 'nyc' but they've been neglecting that track recently so i won't be shocked if they don't play it. they also need to play 'stella' more. ahh, so excited.

ahh i can get their last leg's tour list later for you, i dunno what this leg will be like. it's just the whole album and a cover.

yeah, i'm so over the new album coming out. it took way too fucking long and fiona apple didn't really seem to care about the fact that so many fans were doing so much to help get her music out. BUT, regardless of all of that i think she has one of the most incredible voices ever.

i've only heard their cover of 'such great heights' which is alright. they are quite hyped up...i'm afraid to be let down. tear. haha.

oh man, i cringed when i read the reviews for x&y because you could just tell that the guys thought they had actually made something fantastic and all they were hearing before the albums release was how incredible they were. definitely set chris up for a fall. meh, hopefully this will give them drive for album number 4.

i think it's 'poor me' and as far as i know it's an original...but i'm not sure.

as awful i think 'swallowed in the sea' is lyrically, the tune makes for a perfect single. definitely would do well in the charts. 'white shadows' is a personal favourite of mine off the album, but radio didn't really give 'god put a smile upon your face' much of a chance and 'white shadows' is musically and lyrically a little along the same lines. as for 'talk', i dunno...it could work as a single i guess.

^^ the crowd was awful last night, huh? and i'm not just saying for coldplay...but like in general there was just an horrible stiff vibe. i miss the old mtv video award set up.

chris really sounded nervous at the beginning of the performance. he was all guarded and unsure of himself. i don't know what it is about mtv award shows that make him so nervous. i definitely noticed right away that they cut the second half of the first verse (i love the opening to that verse 'look up, i look up at night...' pout). and i noticed someone said they had chopped out a bit of last year's performance too! that's what i thought, but i was never positive. meh, as coldplay performances go it was enjoyable...but i've seen better. i especially hated the three stoogies by chris playing it up for the camera. urgh, morons. little sad to hear they didn't win any awards, but speed of sound isn't that great of a video...we can't be that shocked it didn't take video of the year...there's not much to it.
