i really am not sure which one i enjoy more. i think the leaked version had better lyrics and sound for the verses, but the chorus of the album version is undeniably addicting. it's a total toss-up.

i went online for ten...my ticketmaster messed up and didn't let me see the screen to buy tickets till about 10:05. i tried once and found two tickets in section 103 row 31 i believe? i've been in that section before for another concert and it blew. the sound at the acc is terrible. there was no way i was going to drop 80 dollars a ticket for shit seats. i've been to my coldplay concert for the year, i don't mind missing this one.

i would be worried if coldplay didn't get a bad review. i am so sick of hearing every journalist/critic just jump on this coldplay-hype bandwagon. all the good reviews sound the same. coldplay still have a ways to go...i don't want them to think they are good enough to stop now.

purchased it for $13.99 CDN at HMV. could have bought it cheaper somewhere else, but HMV were giving away posters...try to say no to a free poster.

radiohead fans dissing coldplay? whaaaaaaaaat?! that's so unheard of!! pay no attention to them. they aren't coldplay fans, why should they like x&y? we trash bands in the 'world of music' forum all the time. to each their own. i think the fact that we've made a thread bitching about them not liking x&y was a bit silly. the trick is NOT letting them know we care what they think.

boohoo. 30 people think chris martin can't write songs, while a million+ think otherwise. neither side is right or wrong. it really doesn't matter what you think of his lyrics. it's a petty topic.

oooh thanks for the download. that's wonderful. after first listen i like it, but i think it's gonna take a few more for me to really get into it.

i'm glad to hear coldplay are coming back to toronto. i'm not too stressed out over tickets and frankly no matter how much these ones cost will be a deal compared to my kool haus ones. haha. boo acc! but yay for the fact that waaaaay more toronto fans will get to see them this time around! :D

bought the album today, i have a feeling you're right about the not regretting it part. i remember i couldn't stand hot hot heat during their last album hoopla, but i really like the sound they've gone with on this album. which makes sense as i always seem to like the sound the real old fans don't go for.

i was so a howie fan back in the day! he's so nice. haha. i think their new video is pretty lame. it's like 'cue leaves blowing in the wind. cue nick dramatically picking up dirt. cue kevin looking awkward and out of place.' it's not a bad song though!

blaaaaaah blah. money's money! merch is expensive. i'm not surprised by how much they were charging and gladly paid it. i've been to shows where merch was waaaaay more. i'm sure we all have. yeah, i could get a coldplay shirt off ebay for like 10 bucks, but it's just not the same. it wouldn't mean as much.

those ringtones aren't bad at all. i stupidly purchased a phone on a closed network so finding ringtones i like for it is next to impossible. my next phone i'm making sure it can play truetones and all that jazz.

you know what irks me. when acts come to toronto or vancouver and they are like 'HELLO CANADA!! WE LOVE CANADA!' it's like wtf, you are in one part of canada. when you go to a gig in the states your not screaming 'hello america!' haha. pet peeve.
