  4. jebus. so the itunes release (114mb) is the best quality out so far, correct? and really no different sounding as the FLAC (290mb) or the 320kbps (101mb). do i have that right?

  20. i sorta understand why certain people want bands to get "stuck" in the same music as they have done before. it happens all the time. no one wanted Pearl Jam or U2 to make changes or Dave Matthews Band, and when they did they lost some fan base, many bitched, and many more came to love a band they never gave a chance before. bands that have any staying power, whatsoever, change. however i can appreciate the hopes that "the band you once fell in love with" would continue to make songs that you know and love. quite frankly, it doesnt happen anymore...too often. i am a different animal. i appreciate bands reaching out of the norm. i get tired of bands that re-hash their music over and over. does that mean that everytime a band does this i will like it? absolutely not. i dont really care for Pearl Jam anymore. does this mean that there are bands that i never cared for previously that i may like the "new" sound? sure, i liked U2's new album a lot. Dave Matthews band has had its ups and downs by their most fickle fanbase (imo)...they are my favorite band and i love their new album. it provides somthing fresh from them that i havent heard in some time. i look at change with a bands music as a positive. when bands are as talented as Coldplay or DMB i want them to try to master many things, not just one thing. not all will succeed, but i trust that each band knows whats best for them. through all that, i love what i have heard from X&Y.
  21. hmm Swallowed in the Sea, What If, Fix You, and Till Kingdom Come are all my favs so far
