UK December 2005 Presale
You don't have many posts for a "mod", do you?? Why is that?? Because I'm not on the board alot and when I am, I feel it is not necessary to post just for the hell of it. Well you are definitely in the minority on that score, then!! Do you have the fewest number of posts of any mod on here?? I don't know and do you know what? I don't actually care. :stunned:

The Island
What do you mean.... making it...?! You mean the production techniques were poor or something? I think they were eggcellently done - although I agree with Mimi about how the film didn't need

The Island
mwhaha, i never thought of that one.... eggcellent  random comment - i laughed my ass off during the bar scene, after they escaped from the underground place... "he's taking a dump." "where's he taking it?" :laugh3: "straight up?" *looks up* ahahaha. scarlett was perfect for the role of Jordan, coz as much as I love her she has that ability to appear incredibly ditzy with very little effort

The Island
Fantastic movie. A little slow and tedious to begin with, but as the story developed I really enjoyed it. The beautiful Scarlett Johannson and the even beautiful-ler Mr. McGregor have a perfect onscreen partnership. Has anyone else seen this? I was sceptical at first, but I was pleasantly surprised.... The issues it raises about cloning in the 21st century are spot on. Must-see  <hubba

Me too ;) I'm studying Eng. Lit @ university and for one of my units this year Virginia Woolfe's "Mrs Dalloway" and Waugh's "Howard's End are just two of the novels on the agenda.... spiffing  Brideshead Revisited is also an absolute classic - I just slip back in time to the thirties and that golden pre-WWII era whenever I read it

Glaaasssgow Friday 1st July 2005
WWooooooooooooooooohoooooooo hold the phone people I'm still on a high from friday!!!!!! :D :D :D :D 4th time seeing them... and it was really THE best time!!!! Fix You was my ultimate highlight... when the first big drum beat from will came in before the chorus there was fireworks and the crowd went crazy!!! Coldplay sang it as an encore and I was walking on air for the rest of the weekend  They really were AMAZING... The whole band were on top form. God Put A Smile Upon Your Face was a pleasant surprise.... very very very good live. I was a little disappointed that they didn't sing Shiver, but that's insignificant when I consider the fantabulousness of the rest of the gig :D dossers11, what did you think? When the band came back from Live 8 on Saturday to play the second Glasgow gig my friend and I could hear the concert again from her flat! Hahah, two for the price of one  :smug:

You people listen to a lot of very tedious music.
What a USELESS thread. I HATE people who try to RAM their music opinions down other people's throats. We like Coldplay, Socrates, you don't. Get over it.
