I don't know Reflektor. What's the full running time of this? Usually a double album would be around 90 minutes. It would be amazing if Coldplay's new tracks will all be 5 minutes or longer (I have some doubts, but of course let's wait for more official information).

I think the tracklist we saw, with the blank track etc,, wasn't the final version. Also it looks a bit too short for a double album. Eight tracks per CD, unless every track is running at least 5 minutes but I think that's unlikely.

I think that was a harmonium. They used that for a few tracks in the early days. Also in 'Till Kingdom Come'.

Another option would be a 3 or 4 panel digipak sleeve, similar as the Butterfly Package. But then the booklet would be more hidden inside the sleeve. Well, let's hope it's packaged like Ghost Stories and AHFOD.

I believe the jazz band picture actually is the slipcase while the sun/moon motif is on the booklet's front cover. Probably similar packaging way as the last few albums.

That's what I thought, especíally after what I've read here pages earlier. And Wikipedia isn't always reliable anyway.^^

From the letter(s) I understand the two halfs will come out in one package and not separated, as some people here think. So this double album in fact will be LP8. Also, this probably might be the 'experimental' album as well then? If this really is Oldplay on 2 discs I definitely gonna love this!

Every real band actually should release at least one double album in their lifetime, IMO. Think I'll love this, as I dig double albums a lot.

Thanks! And yes, it's the version from the Blue Room sessions (though just partly believe it actually is a demo). 'High Speed' is from Parachutes (and the Blue Room EP), I added this to the album at last minute as I thought of re-presenting the whole EP in this.

I probably said this before here (on another thread) but I wish we could get high quality versions of 'Ode To Deodorant' and the early take of 'Brothers & Sisters' straight from the master CD. The cassette dubs are great but have some flaws.

I think 'Oceans' was the closest 're-visiting Parachutes'-track we could get in the last few years. If those 'synth beeps' weren't there you actually could believe it's straight from the original 1999/2000 sessions. Would be great if they gonna do more like this on the next album(s).
