It SOUNDS like, and don't quote me on this it's only a guess, they're making their whole catalog available online for licensing. So anyone can pay a fee to access any song for use in any media form. So on one hand, it might be nice for people like independent filmmakers who have a horrible time trying to obtain song rights for their movies, but on the other hand, it may mean that artists are no longer going to be given any say in how their music is used commercially, since it's all available through that site. Ok, scratch that, i just reread it any artists will get a say. That's good. It's going to be interesting, anyway...

Canadian music is split about 50/50 between crappy and brilliant. The US government's problem is that it lets the crappy stuff through and bans the brilliant stuff. Like here. So it's your fault. :P

The sad part being that old skunk-hair there actually won. The media around here was going crazy about it because it was the second year in a row a (sub-par) Canadian won Rockstar. :tongue:
