Anyone heard the new album yet? I'm liking a lot of it, though the rest needs some time to grow on me. Love that "prickly thorn" song... he definatly must have family from Cape Breton to be able to write a tune like that.

If it was the first season on the island before anyone really knew how to play the game, I think it would be fun to be on survivor, just to see if I could handle the outdoorsy side of it. After people figured out how to backstab each other, not so much. Deal or no Deal would be interesting, if only because they give you alot of free money just for playing odds.

The scariest feeling in the world for me is being alone in a crowd. If you're lonely on your own there's always the hope that you might find someone eventually you can talk with, but being an outsider with a bunch of people who don't notice you, that you mean nothing to, having no right to interact with them, and no clue how to try... I'm quiet to begin with, and I went through about a year when I was 18 and 19 when I was really deeply depressed and cut off from my old school friends. That happened alot then. It terrified me. It scares me that it might happen again.

:laugh3: From the sublime to the ridiculous. :uhoh: Yeah, there's an old cliche that goes "as long as there are tests, there will always be prayer in school". I just had a music theory test today... I could not remember all of the names of the modes (ionain, phrysian, mixolydian... those ones) to save my life. Studying wasn't helping, my mind was blank, and I was getting scared. So I prayed, and it all came flooding back. Aced the test, too.

I just figured out how to play a Cmaj7#9 chord on a guitar, and it sounds really pretty.

^I'm still here! And will be for a long time to come... heh... I may not post much but there's been about oh, 4 maybe 5 days that I haven't checked the board at least once in the last year and a half or more. :stunned:

It's cloudy and rainy here.... :( Not such a fun way to see the longest day. Hopefully it'll be bettter tomorrow.
