  1. And the airfare is cheaper to Europe. Lucky. :P
  2. Your point being? That it's the same because it's canadian? I have a better chance of making it back to England one day than ever seeing the west coast.
  3. Ok, I think I know which one it is then. Thanks.
  4. Snow Patrol vs. Sigur Ros Radiohead vs. Arcade Fire
  5. Well it would be your fault for having far too narrow tastes then :P I'd probably be out of breath half the time just from running between tents trying to see everyone I want to.
  6. Freaky stuff. I wonder how those jerks would react if they realised just how much how many people pay to get their hair dyed that colour. Red hair is the best. Pity it skipped my generation.
  7. Who cares... :dozey: I wanna go soooo bad! :bigcry: :bigcry: :bigcry:
  8. It wasn't even a mom n'pop store, it was the biggest chain in the country at one point. It just had more stuff and people who knew more than anywhere else.
  9. Eep. Well at least they're going to be on home ice for the next couple of games.
  10. Well there are a few logical ways both Nathan and Peter could be Ok. Like if Nathan just got him up high enough to explode, then let go and flew away. In the future Peter had exploded and survived.
  11. He knew who a Russian cartoon character was... enough to fake being Russian on alias day. And I think when he was the Bananaman he was really evil, but that was before my time.
  12. Where's Random Play? I don't know if I've been in that one or not.
  13. I'm not sure he would post pics of a fluffy cat, though. Check this out it has all the links: http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1910814&postcount=93
  14. Malajube are awesome. And I like what I've heard of Les Breastfeeders. Granted, I don't have a clue what they're saying. Or did you just mean France French?
  15. I haven't seen that post of his before :laugh3: Where did you find it? Yeah, I usually only saw the sociology stuff... odd, perhaps, but extremely endearing in a weird way. He would create fake accounts and fake personalities to come on here and see how people would react and how long it would take them to figure out it was him.

Everyone I know uses facebook... so I guess I'm stuck with that, even though I almost never update. I prefer posting in livejournal. I've thought about setting up a myspace just for my online stuff though. But then it's one more thing to look after.
  17. Didn't you say you would be banned if you started another one of these?....
  18. Ah, my singing voice sucks. It's an old folk song. (although I first heard it on an episode of veggie tales...) No, I don't think I've ever taken a picture of myself in any toilets.
  19. That's an actual song?  More like "Farewell to Nova Scotia, the sea-bound coast, let your mountains dark and dreary be. For when I am far away on the briny ocean tossed, will you ever give a sigh and wish for me"
  20. I think Gwyneth was starring in the London stage version of Proof when she first met Chris, actually. It was with one of the radio stations in California...
  21. *sings* Meet me in St. Louis, Louis, meet me at the fair... sorry, couldn't help myself.
  22. ugh... I slept in 'till 11am. How did that happen? Good thing I didn't have school today.
  23. I ought to look up some of his old threads... they're hilarious. He hated Coldplay (but only mentioned it when he really wanted to stir up trouble), was ambivalent about most music, always had crazy stories about what he was up to, and used the lounge as some sort of a giant sociology petri dish. So yeah, he is the one and only, but you seem to have had a similar effect.
  24. So congratulations... you seem to be in training as the new Reilly. :sneaky: Unless he comes back, of course. It's the slowest I've ever seen it- the between albums slump when a lot of regulars wander off. Even the official site has been down for maintenance for a month. Don't worry about qwerty's spam... you'll fry some synapses if you think too hard. :P @ qwerty
  25. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20070529.wsamsclose0529/BNStory/National/?page=rss&id=RTGAM.20070529.wsamsclose0529 I really miss the Halifax store- it had a lot of character, more selection than anywhere, and as I just found out before it closed, it was the only good place to still get vinyl. They had the Arcade Fire's Funeral there on vinyl, and I was going to get it as soon as I had the money. One week later and the store was gone. :( I have an incredibly dim view of the major record labels, and think they deserve what they're getting somewhat if all they do is churn out crap, force it down people's throats, and talk about buying each other. But I still like CDs. Most people do still buy CDs. I hate that the good music stores are disappearing because people would rather buy stuff at the grocery store.
