~Lost~Season 2 & 3 ~SPOILERS INSIDE!~
THAT was freaky! :surprised: :wreck: :sweatdrop:

Lost drama to carry on until 2010
So basically 2 seasons worth of episodes stretched over 3 seasons. It would probably take them that long just to sort everything out at this point... At least they can go back to plan A with the plot now and stop making up filler for the middle. With any luck, it should get better.

bossa nova music
A rhythm setting on a keyboard... well, music too, but I mainly know it from playing around with keyboards.

What are you thinking right now?
I hate going places alone... I'm always afraid i'm going to get mugged or something....

Radiohead
I listened to OK Computer first too, and had exactly the same reaction. ;) Still one of my two or three favorite albums. If you can keep an open mind, I'd check out Kid A next. It can take a bit longer for some people to get into, but is totally brilliant. The Bends is awsome too if you want something more rock oriented. And wow that pic is old! But yeah adorable... I don't think I've ever seen him with his hair quite like that...

Feist
Well with a new album come new tours, so who knows? *crosses fingers* please come to Halifax again, please come to Halifax again. I first heard about her the last time she was here... and of course tickets sold out in no time flat, so... :\ Well, I have seen her with Broken Social Scene, but it's not the same.

Important Details about Indie Rock
Geek humor. Try not to think too hard or something might explode. :bomb: :laugh3: Thanks, though the full poem is really sad. (J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Sea Bell" aka "Frodo's Dream") I though it was more that Coldplay are into Radiohead who are into Adams. But Chris really is a bit of a scifi geek, so who knows.

They want to have played a concert in every one of the States. Surely there must be one near you. They're playing in Delaware even!

~Lost~Season 2 & 3 ~SPOILERS INSIDE!~
Has anyone ever read the C.S. Lewis book "The Great Divorce"? In it, Lewis describes hell as a place where you can instantly get whatever you imagine. The catch is that everyone is still themselves so they could get anything and yet never be the slightest bit happy or satisfied. I've really been reminded of it for the last couple of episodes.

I need to start remembering that I'm older than I usually think I am. But it makes me so sad. I don't care about aging, so much as being out of touch or having everyone leave me behind... I know two people who are big White Stripes fans. They're both married and have had kids within the last year, so chances of dragging them to a concert: slim to none. Oh yeah, and the other two people I might have been fairly reliably been able to drag with me have moved to Newfoundland and South Korea because of work. Grrr. :disappointed: Growing up sucks. *sulks*

COLDPLAY DOT COM DONE! NEW WEBSITE SOON
I wonder what it's going to look like whey they're done. Hope they don't pick style over function this time. Maybe people would ask fewer silly questions if everything was easier to notice and read.

a few little things :)
Hi! :) I don't know if we ever talked before, but it's always fun when an old regular comes back. And more Muse is very definitely a good thing.
-
D'ya mind if I join in from time to time, I'm new!
Why do you bump such random old threads. Let them rest in peace.

The White Stripes
I am definatly going, as long as I don't have to go alone... responses from friends have been less than stellar so far, though. It's at that new Cunard Centre, so really nice venue but it helps if you go with a group of people so the crowd can't push you around as much- one thing I learned from the Sam Roberts concert there- lots of excited kids who have never been to a real concert before :dizzy: Do you mean the Canada Day concert? :sick2: yeah, you couldn't pay me to go to that one. I don't like to diss other people's music but man, it's like everything thats wrong with mainstream music wrapped up in a tight little craptastic bubble. And of course it's going to get in the way of people who just want to see the fireworks from the hill. grr. Anyway, White Stripes tickets on sale this Friday! That gives me two days to pester people to come... :sneaky:

What are you thinking right now?
Funny how you can listen to something one day and it won't make sense, then listen to the same thing on a different day and it's perfect. Guess it has more to do with the brain than the music. Hello Aphex Twin.
