  1. I guess... The time I played it there it was a school retreat, so it was probably set up a bit differently. There was no moon that night, and I actually got lost in the middle of that big field- yes it was that dark- by the driveway. :laugh3: I think the game ended before anyone I was with ever figured out what was going on.
  2. Exactly. Many, many times. Hey, maybe this is a plot specifically to debunk that theory once and for all?...
  3. Ouch! That's why you're supposed to use stealth not running...
  4. This thread, for an example. :p
  5. Wow... this is giving me so many summer camp flashbacks... mainly of the boring games where you stand in the middle of a field in the hot sun and complain that you're no good at tag. My favorite versions of capture the flag are the ones that happen at night in the woods and everyone is sneaking around and coming up with all sorts of crazy strategies.
  6. :laugh3: Q w e r t y i s a d r a m a q u e e n . :P
  7. I saw this article in the paper today: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/04/24/science/24bees.html I would never trust prison planet as a source (sorry, dude) but I think there is something to this story... I've been keeping half an eyeball on it for a bit now. Silly humans thinking new ways of doing things are so great (genetic modification, mechanical everything, fancy pesticides and fertilizers), and yet we're lost without something as simple as a bee. *shakes head*

  10. Aww, I was going to go to that game, and I completely forgot when it was. Not that I'm in shape enough to even try playing anyway... Anyway, I don't know if you like them or care or whatever or not, but did you hear that the White Stripes are coming to Halifax soon? Guess someone worth noticing does come every once in a while...
  11. The White Stripes are coming to Hailfax! The White Stripes are coming to Hailfax! The White Stripes are coming to Hailfax!
  12. I wrote this on: 28-12-2006, 11:06 PM Wow... A saga has finally come to an end today, and I am actually listening to my brand new cd. It's been so long I'm having a hard time believing it's over! :sweatdrop: In between ordering it and now there has been about 4 months, 3 reorders, 10 store visits and phone calls bugging them about it not coming in, roughly that many different employees (most of whom didn't even know how to pronounce the band's name and went to comical lengths to avoid saying it out loud- one guy even thought they were French), me giving in and buying the easily available (but not half as good) EP "From the Cliffs", and finally a nice guy who got the bright idea to call one of the stores in Toronto to see if they had it in stock. If only someone had thought of that first. :stunned: It was worth it though, it's been awhile since I listened to it and I had forgotten just how good it was. :nice:
  13. Happy Birthday! :D Wow.. there really are alot of people born in April, aren't there... Welcome to the club.
  14. Well, for how long someone can come up with things to talk about in it, anyway. *shrugs*
  15. I just fixed a guitar by gluing it back together. I feel so accomplished. :smug:
  16. Hey, you brought your thread back. *waves*
  17. Ok, thanks for asking first before going and doing something silly like you just did. So now what do I do for the rest of the day. Random.
  18. Um... Nice to see another Sun episode. I always like her's.
  19. So first it was light, and now it's ink. Random.
  20. "The perfect combination of good etiquette and charm/ you keep the chocolate biscuts wired to a car alarm" :laugh3: I love that line. I've loved alot of their singles for a long time, but yeah, this is the first album of theirs I've ever heard. I'm hooked. :stunned:
  21. That's so great! Glad it went to someone who would really appreciate it. :D
  22. No problem, I can get a bit long winded, but hey, you asked. As for the holiday, I'm Canadian and I've never heard of it, but I've also never smoked pot, so... *shrug* Glad you like it here. You seem to have come at the perfect time, long after one album is out and long before another one gets promoted, so you don't have to compete with 100 other people asking the same questions. Timing is everything...
  23. None on the East Coast. We do have Future Shop, which is the same sort of thing and I think it's run by Best Buy.
  24. I'll say; if you had asked me a couple of months ago what I wanted for my birthday more than anything, I would have said "a day of summer". And now there I was walking alongside the water in Point Pleasant Park in a t-shirt, completely shocked that there was a blizzard just two weeks ago and not even the (usually freezing) wind blowing in off the ocean was enough to need a jacket. It was perfect. :nice: :laugh4: Well Google said it was happy birthday in Korean, but in Japanese it was an entire nonsensical sentence. Huh. I didn't realize that Korean used Chinese characters. "Who shot who in the what now" is just an expression, sort of like what the hooey. ;) Thanks again everyone, this meant a lot to me! :D Oh, and Happy Birthday to Shakespeare. He was born on the 23rd too. Random.
  25. Yay, I got BHAR for my birthday. :nice: That was the last one, so I have all four of them now. Guess I'll have to try to track down a copy of Hullaballo next...someday.
