  1. ^Yeah, sorry about your melon, but the one account per person rule really does exist for a reason. You've missed some of the really nasty schizoids.
  2. The Young Victoria - Wonderfully cast and very, very well done. :nice: 9/10
  3. Hmm... they did show up this month. :sneaky:
  4. It's like alias day without the warning. :wtf: Silly trolls. :vanish:
  5. Actually, usually when people buy me socks it's a sign that they do know me and get my tastes. I probably have around 100 pairs and still love getting more. Now black socks, that wouldn't go over so well if they didn't have stars on them.
  6. Sorry, they kind of clash with my bedspread. :laugh4:
  7. I usually drive my mom crazy with sock suggestions for Christmas. The more likely they are to make your eyes bleed, the better. I love stripey socks.
  8. So I got some more pieces up. I guess that's the bulk of what happened over the month. I'll continue to add bits and pieces when I can fit them in around post-Christmas stuff. Thanks for the well wishes and yes I am feeling a bit better now. Sorry for the delay, but pneumonia wasn't exactly my idea of what to do with pre-Christmas free time either.
  9. I'm like a cat- 10% of the time I really need attention. About 20% of the time I really really need to be alone. The other 70% of the time I don't care at all. Being around people is wonderful, and I'm perfectly happy on my own too.
  10. VINYL!!!!!!!! :wideeyed:
  11. Total white girl moment here, but I didn't like it at all for a long time. Then I saw all the words to Jay-z's part written out once, and I've liked it ever since. I think his version really does add something to the song thematically. It shifts the meaning a bit and deepens it. And now that I've seen what he's saying on paper, I can always pick out what he's saying and the emotion that's going into it now.
  12. Ouch. :( Well, on the bright side at least you know there's trouble so you can at least try, or leave, or end it somehow. It's better than having a once best friend fall out of touch, say she'll call you or write you and never do it, act awkward whenever she sees you in public, and yet still insist you're good friends. I think there's a grudge involved, but if there is I'm being given silent treatment and she'll never fess up. I don't know what I did wrong or if I did anything wrong and yet I'm supposed to figure it out.
  13. Merry Christmas Albie! :D And don't worry... I've stayed away from the egg nog.
  14. Merry Christmas!
  15. ^Merry Christmas :nice: To you and your cat.
  16. Christmas war!!! YAAAHH!!! *throws snowballs at everyone*
  17. She was 11. And my best friend. Her liver stopped working a couple of weeks ago.
  18. Yay Christmas spirit. :nice: I wonder, does that come in a spray can? I'm going to need an awful lot if it's going to work.
  19. 5. I am excited because it's Christmas. But I'm still sick and my side still hurts. My cat just died. And everyone is now moved out but me so the youthfulness is drained from the house. I'd say this will go down as one of my sadder Christmases.
  20. Only a fool would willingly meet with a pitchfork wielding mob. I don't think Mark is that sort of a fool. Neither me nor the admins here are either underage or new, which is why I don't have a problem with the wiser route in this case. Yes he contacted me about my post. He said very little and nothing of consequence so I haven't responded. His actions however, speak volumes. I said that if Mark changed his behavior, I wouldn't have a problem with him being here. His behavior as I have observed it has changed. Therefore, I withdraw my complaints as long as his behavior stays changed. Worries, being worries, will never stop nagging, which is why I will continue to be vigilant. By which I mean, keep an eye on things, not make a big fuss about old news. To those who feel the need for another big argument I ask, do you really want things to improve, or are you looking for some sort of revenge/emotional catharsis from a fight? From your attitudes it seems like the latter. Me, I wanted things to improve and they did. If it was not for my worries, I would have kept my mouth shut. I wish I had now, since this whole exercise has only reminded me why I don't pick sides. I hate pitchfork wielding mobs. They are the antithesis of reason, and reason is the number one thing needed here. Which is why I will say again, time for this thread to die. It has served its purpose. This is the last time I will post here as long as things stay changed.
  21. :laugh3: Dads aren't too bad... it always helps to know a thing or two about cars for distraction.
  22. He's chosen to deal with it privately, and that's his business. Refreshing, even. I think for the most part the people who need to see that already have and know to be vigilant. Let's say we take the silliness to another thread and let this one die now, eh?
  23. I hate golf.
  24. Heh... if it was me they'd be blocked by the second post.
